That's your response to everything. It doesn't make any sense. They play in other leagues. You might as well say Canadian or Kiwi League quality then. We got superior defense from Miles & Zimmerman, the actual guys from MLS.
Depth chart in my opinion is what I wrote, meaning in my opinion he is worth getting another look against better competition. Do you not agree? He got forward fairly well and has been solid defensively. Is that not what we want from our RBs?
hes got a LOT of work to do. No one is going to sugar coat that. This friendly sequence validated that. Luckily we are getting the most qualified coach for our team ever. He has the knowledge to right this ship. This series just showed we DESPERATELY needed this
its fine if we learned from it. Like Al Qaeda in Iraq in 2006.........after that, we turned a corner. If we learned, it wasnt for naught. We just need a Petraeus to sort it out, and I hope Poch is it
Final score USA 0 Pulisic 1 and New Zealand 1. A draw on paper but the USA team, or lack thereof, deserved another loss.
Somebody tell Balogen he doesn't have to fall down every time he gets near the ball in the penalty area.
He played well enough to get another shot. And I'm more interested in him than Lund because his initial inclusion was more organic + the position he plays is not as deep these days. But this/that doesn't actually put him on the depth chart. It just buys him another camp/game appearance. We'll see how that goes.
Did you serve in Iraq? …But yeah, hopefully, we gained some things from this match. But Poch has to catch up fast.
Water finds its level, as do players. This group ain't all that talented. This is no "golden generation."
Another team that was way more physical than we were and muscled us off of the ball. We are way too soft.
I was OK with it. I only saw the second half, though. We dominated play. They scored on a fluke goal. We had some guys flash. Yeah, I'm OK chalking this one up to "It's just a friendly."
I did, and AFG. Just on a base, though. I will never overglorify what I did. I did less than some, but more than many. That's always how I will look at it. Ill never brag about being shot at or outside the wire or anything. But I did some.......interesting stuff, especially in Iraq. The gig was up in Afghanistan, but in Iraq, it was interesting. Nothing more fun than being 3 steps ahead of the enemy and them not having a clue why.
I was just in Iraq. 2004-05. 25th ID, 1st BDE, C 1/5 INF. 11B Infantry. Participated in the Second Battle of Fallujah (Nov 04), 2004 Battle of Mosul, and 2005 Nineveh Elections. Glad to meet another vet on here.
Nice, I was ISREC in Balad 137th and 451th expeditionary squadron in Kandahar 2010. Who woulda ever known cell phones would have ever been so important (not a secret anymore, obviously)
