If you would have told me before the game, a point would be great. Watching the game and how we performed, I’m devastated we didn’t get three. Some all time howlers from Pefok and Pulisic. Should have dos a ceroed that bare minimum

Greg won that game, he put the 3 points there for the players. They didn’t get there. That’s in them.

Musuh Motm. Acosta getting those dark arts on lock. Just doesn’t have a shred of offense in his body .

Robinson and Zimmerman are ourstarting CB pairing. No ifs ands or buts anymore.

our forward situation is a crisis. To the point of blowing the pool up and starting over crisis. Talking JMo up too experimentation time . Call up Hoppe and nico gio regardless of club situation time. Fast track Cade cowell time

Haaland would have put away that Reyna chance. A point is great.

Can't blame GGG for this one that got away. Quality chances were created. The right players took the shots. They blew it. That is all.

Find a fake injury for Prefok and call in Sargent. Please

I don't see why he settled for a draw. Why bring in Reyna if you're just gonna boot the ball up the field? We clearly are better than Mexico and a win would've been huge.

Not new news. But, we have such a massive striker problem.

Pefok with a Wondolowski-level missed sitter. Harder to miss it than to score. Sargent hasn’t had a scoring chance like that for the national team in 2 years. Get Sargent in ASAP. And Scally for that matter.

Weird game. Really lacked the usual intensity of USA - Mexico.

A draw is a great result in the abstract, and I would have taken it at kickoff, but we really should have won.

Beat Panama on Sunday and we're functionally in. Just get it done.

If USA wins vs. Panama they are basically in, right?

Just wanted to say that was the best ref I think I've ever seen for USA - Mexico. Props.

I cannot believe the whining I saw on PBP and see coming here.
    Just 2 comments:
    1. Someone remind me how many WQC goals Donovan or Dempsey had at Azteca?
The way people are trash talking Pulisic in the PBP, you'd think D&D were scoring for fun there. Ridiculous.
    2. Reyna... OMFG, he is going to be immense.

Both teams were fine with a draw.

No big complaint with how GB managed the game. Players have to make plays…period, and we didn’t. It’s that simple.

Reyna is our best player right now, followed by Weston.

Worst Mexican team I’ve seen in a long time.

    Pefok was awful today.

It’s time to think outside the box for forward.

weird stuff needs to happen because this isn’t working just cycling through zardes, Pefok pepi, and Sargent

fast track cowell. Being in Hoppe and nico gio again, wipe the slate clean

The team played well. Berhalter seems to have gotten everything right EXCEPT the last group of subs. They simply did not make sense. That said, if the players had taken their chances earlier in the game, this is a win. They let themselves down. With Mark Anthony Kaye picking up 2 dumb 1st half yellows to put Canada behind the 8-ball, we are still in a battle.

Those misses by Pulisic and Pefok were embarrassingly bad. Just unreal how bad we are at finishing.

So I guess a point is ok, but we can’t clinch solely by beating Panama now since Canada lost. Also no Weah or Yedlin is a problem vs Panama.

If we beat Panama and Costa Rica beats El Salvador. We will literally be playing not to lose by too much in CR to qualify.

Team was starting to look gassed around the 75-80 min mark IMO, I think looking at the bigger picture was the right call. A point here was HUGE for us qualifying and we get Adams for Panama.

Good result. My gut feels like it was punched, though. Should have had a victory for sure. Mexico was not good, we had several massive defensive errors they couldn’t convert. Lucky draw in a way because we we couldn’t hit those easy shots. Whew!!

Tactics wise, Greg won that game period. Greg earned three points. His players let him down

    Ref was pretty good.
Match was cleaner than usual for US/Mexico
We really should have won, but we'll take the point at Azteca.
We absolutely need that Panama win, and now we're playing Shaq Moore at RB and no Weah.

Strong performance. Grab the tie. No yellow for Adams. Let's do it again. We play like this at home, we'll crush Panama.

I thought they played fairly well and the manager got it right. Didn't like the Long sub, but that's picking nits.
Shame about Pefok, I would expect he would get that on target. Oh well.

I don't know why Pulisic didn't come off at 60'. I'm not sure how much he can play against Panama. I assume he will be a sub.
