Does anyone know where fans in either the Albany, NY or Springfield, MA areas will be gathering to watch the game? Or, if anyone just knows a "soccer friendly" bar in either area let me know. I will be on a camping vacation about halfway between the two cities without any access to Telemundo?

I am also interested in a viewing in the Springfield area so I will check it out.

I still believe it will be on live English TV, probably FSC. There's no reason it wouldn't be. But if you find a place in Albany let me know. Albany isn't exactly a soccer town though.

I don't know if its open in the summer on a Saturday night but the new "bar/lounge" at Afrim's (indoor soccer facility) in Colonie, NY (Albany 'burb) would probably show it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I called today and Afrim's said that they would probable show the game, but they couldn't guarentee it. I am going to call on Saturday afternoon to get a same-day update. It is a further drive for me since I am coming from east of Albany, NY. But, if there are fans gathering to watch the game I will make the effort. It would be much prefered to watching the game alone in an Albany, NY or Springfield, MA bar.

Thanks for the insider's info on Albany. I am going to skip Afrim's since it is a longer drive. With the recent announcement of the game being carried on ESPN Classic my options have enlarged. I suspect most sports bars will have ESPN Classic. I will find one in either South Egremont, MA or Great Barrington, MA.

I found a co-worker who is also a soccer fan to watch the game with me in Springfield, MA. I called JTS Sports Pub (1373 Main St, 413-733-5714) and Mr. DS Sports Bar (578 Main St, 413-436-5761) and they both carry ESPN Classic. I guess I will check them both out around 7 pm since they are within less than a mile from each other.
