I knew with Wambach out after getting her head cut we better watch out. Sure enough, Korea scores quickly on the counter....

 

That's bad goalkeeping for you.

 

Each keeper has had one go through their hands now.

 

1-1 Terrible goalkeeping again, this is typical women's goalkeeping error. And people wonder why allot of people don't take the womebns game seriously, what a howler. Korea deserved to be level but boy, that was bad from Solo!

 

yeah, but I don't think that one had as much power as Abby's but maybe that's me.

The crowd noise just increased. That's a pro-NK crowd.

 

The wet ball contributed to the ball getting by Solo, but that was bad form by Solo. She didn't get her arms behind the ball like she should have.

I think you are shot if you don't cheer.

 

i've seen countless howlers just as bad in the men's game. including jens lehmann twice in recent weeks.

now this, we really have a problem though.

ryan needs to sub wambach out. plain and simple, if she can't come back they can't keep playing a player down.

Abby wouldn't have gotten hurt if she had been wearing a mask on the back of her head.

 

I thought it was a hand ball, but I also thought Lloyd could have been carded right before it.
