Damn, I believe this might be the first XI I’ve selected correctly under Gregg... definitely the best XI we could have selected for this game.

 

Hmm. No Yueill. So there is that. Not hard to see Jamaica bossing the midfield

 

This is an encouraging line up.

 

busio is going to have to offer some resistance. this could be really good or really bad.

I probably would have gone with Williamson instead of Busio. Particularly given the physical strength of Jamaica's team. But, overall, happy.

 

I like Bello more than Vines and Williamson over Acosta but it's marginal. About the best with the roster.

The Good: No Zardes, Roldan, Bello or Pines
The Bad: Busio, from what I’ve seen, may have trouble against the Jamaican midfield. Not physical enough.

Tactical genius from Gregg. Brings two players in to train with the team: a winger, and a center back. Then he keeps the center back. Most of us regular people (idiots) thought this likely meant we would stay with the 3 in the back and this way have a back up CB.

But no Gregg is a genius, he did this to trick the Jamaica coach. Now we might not have the wingers for the formation but that’s a risk we have to take to keep the Jamaican national team unprepared.

These pre-game buffoons are saying the same thing, but why's the pressure on Busio? How about Lletget/Acosta, literally A team starters!?!?!

 

You forgot Sergino Dest being played by Shaq Moore.

 

This is going to be a great challenge for Busio. If he's able to hang physically with them, it would ease the biggest concern of his game

 

I'd imagine they don't wanna chance a not 100% Cannon against a fast team

 

I would have had Williamson instead of Lletget and move Busio a bit higher with Acosta and Williamson covering for him

I dont recall having heard the Jamaica National Anthem before. It is quite nice.

 

It sounds very Commonwealth-y
