Villafana. When I need to secure lead...I put in an offensive minded winger who is sub par defensively...lol

I don't get why Corona is still in the national team setup. He had a good game against Bolivia B/C, but he's never looked good against decent opposition.

He's Bruce Arena's best friend. Is anyone surprised that when Sarachan's faced with young players, he goes with the 27 year olds?

The biggest stock up for me (so far) is Steffen. No one has grabbed that spot by the horns. Horvath and Hamid had their chances and simply looked poor. For me now, it is Steffen until proven otherwise.

No. I think CCV could have a successful USL career if he wants

I'm glad we got Josh S in the game, but c'mon give Weah some minutes.

I've loved watching Parker in New York this year, and even I'm surprised at how well he has played tonight.

Listening to the game in French (TF1) and they just remarked how the USA started this game with no Hispanic players at all.

Once the subs start coming in, the friendly is over. From that perspective we won this friendly.

Still more worried about Miazga. that was terrible.

Parker looks better for the US than he does for RBNY. Not as much passing

I'd add Parker and to a lesser extent CCV to the list. I'd say Miazga as well, but I think almost any manager would put him in the XI already.

I'd say at the 70' mark the friendly is over, any player brought in at that point won't have the time to show enough.

None of us get it. It would be like ABMOD getting 75 caps. Makes zero sense. He adds nothing that a dozen other players if not more provide along with another dozen qualities or more that he totally lacks.

He a perfectly fine league player, that's it. He's not international quality for the US unless it's like 1983.
