Yep I hope we practice taking dives and earning free kicks in the offensive third.

Or, if you get close to an opposing defender, forget about trying to score and calculate the angle to kick the ball off of them so we can get a corner.

Without set pieces we are hosed...because I don't see this team scoring from the run of play. No possession and very little movement.

All I want for June 12th is a competent left back.

And who apart from Goodson will be fit to play Center Back? Does Demerit or Bocanegra get healthy? Does Gooch get his game back together?

Other than our defense, midfield, goalkeeping, strategy, and inability to score from non set-pieces we looked pretty gosh darn good!

I have to disagree with Wahl and Ives on the prospect of bringing both Bornstein and Pearce. Take Bornstein, start Bocanegra.

Like I said the English Press will eat us alive. So will the team. If we play like this we might as well not go. Our B team lacks depth. Although I have a solution

Bring the Phoenix Suns and Steve Nash as they seem to be getting the job done against the lakers *smirk* (sorry love watching kobe lose)

Without question. If we could just get Boca some pace, maybe pump him full of Red Bull pre match.

Disappointing match, yes, but there was some bright spots. Holden, Goodson, Buddle, Gomez...

Holden was already pretty much a lock, and the last 3 I said punched their tickets for sure, I think.

The crap players such as Kljestan, showed who is gone for sure. Hopefully Bob doesn't soften up for Kljestan since he seems to think he is so great all the time.

so who in the US can play LB aside from Pearce and Borenstien. i am serious. there aren't any MLS LBs that are american better than these two stiffs? no foreigners that we could have made americans.

bob has spent 4 years pretending that those two don't suck when they do and now we are left with (pun intended) nothing but a choice between dog feces and horse feces at LB.

and the future at LB looks jut as bleak with nobody on the horizon. CB is fine going forward into the future with lots of young talent (Gonzalez, Ream, Opara, Agbossumnde (sp?) ... but LB is going to kill us for years to come it looks like

the whole defence thing is depressing. who thought the back 4 situation would end up being worse than the paucity of striking options.
