They have to wait for the USSF to send them the tickets I believe. In the past, this has happened 6 weeks before the game, sometimes less than 2 weeks before the game. It's out of AO's or SA's control.

Monday May 24th: AO HARTFORD ASYLUM ST. PUB CRAWL is official.

Just got all the bar owners (5 bars) to agree to Drink Specials and to sponsor this event.

Details to follow in the next day or so....

Tuesday MAY 25th: Pregame Gameday Party

As for game day events - I'm still working with the management of Vaughan's Public House to organize a block party before the game and hopefully shuttle service to and from the stadium. This is taking alittle longer than I had hoped.... I will stop by tomorrow and speak to management. But honestly, either way... THE PARTY IS ON AT VAUGHAN"S!!!!

Confirmed with US Soccer today that All U.S. Supporters (Sam’s Army, American Outlaws, etc.) will be seated in section 110, which is treated as standing room only, general admission.

This isn't really a viewing part related post but that will be coming soon anyway.

So it looks like there will only be two send off games before the squad leaves for South Africa and both of those games are being played in the northeast. Are you going? Do you want to go but have made plans yet or purchased tickets? Not to worry because we have got you taken care of.

AO Boston is organizing a bus trip to the Hartford game and we’ve been allotted additional tickets to both games in Hartford and Philadelphia.

    The Brass Bonanza Bus
is running from the Phoenix Landing in Central Square to Rentschler Field in Hartford. The cost of the bus is only $25 and includes food & drink on the bus. Deposits of $10 or full payments of $25 can be made at the bar or via pay pal through Garrett at garrett.quinn.3000@gmail.com Tickets in the supporters section are $34 (includes fees for handling, PayPal charges, etc.) and can be purchased via PayPal through Garrett. You should arrive at the Phoenix Landing no later than the 3pm if you want to get a good seat on the bus. It is very likely the bus will return after the T stops running so please plan accordingly; on street parking is available in the area and there will be ample cabs available. Be smart and don’t drink & drive.

If you’re going to Hartford the night before the game there will be a pub crawl starting at Vaughn’s Public House at 7:00pm. It’s located at 59 Pratt Street, Hartford, CT. (860-882-1560) The pub crawl will include the following drinking establishments: Vaughn’s Public House, Koji, Asylum Café, Mayor Mike’s Restaurant, and Pigs Eye Pub. For the media whores ESPN will be filming the pub crawl.

Day of game will start at Vaughn’s and a shuttle bus from the bar to the stadium/tailgate will be available. More details on this will be available soon.
Hotel & airfare deals are available for this game.

If you’re flying to Hartford for some strange reason a discount on Continental Airlines is available for paid members of AO. Please contact us to obtain the code for the discount.
A hotel discount is available at the Residence Inn by Marriot in Downtown Hartford at 942 Main St, (860-524-5550) Group discount rate of $149/night through code: AMOAMOD It is within easy walking distance of several restaurants and bars. Shuttle will likely be available by game day but just in case the stadium is only a 10 minute drive from the hotel.

Thanks to AO Hartford for all the hard work.

A bus is not running to Philly for this game but we do have a limited number of tickets available for this game. Tickets are $28 each and there is a $7 fee per order. Contact Garrett for information on tickets.

Night before and day of game activities have been organized by AO Philly and will take place at McFadden’s Ballpark Pub at Citizens Bank Park. The pub is a massive establishment and can hold up to 1,800 people. It is within short walking distance of Lincoln Financial Field. Food & drink specials are in place for AO members so wear your gear so you can get the various discounts in place. There are no plans for an organized tailgate at this time.

The Continental Airlines discount is not available for this game because it is Memorial Day Weekend.

If, for whatever, reason you’re on our email list and you live in NYC or DC there are buses running from both places to Philly for the game. Contact AO DC or AO NYC for details.

THE DEADLINE FOR TICKETS IS MAY 7, 2010, 11:59PM

Just spoke to Vaughan's management, they are leaning toward not having a block party or shuttle service. Looks like the cost of organizing this type of an event on a Tuesday night might be too risky. That being said, we still have a month till the game so who knows what they will finally decide.

I say EVERYONE who reads this calls Vaughan's directly and ask if they are having a block party. 860.882.1560

Either way, Vaughan's Public House 59 Pratt St. downtown Hartford will be the location of our pregame party.

I hope the AO don't mind me posting here as well, but I wanted to let you Boston lads know that I've arranged a book signing for Finn McCool's Football Club, a story about soccer in New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina, from 5-7pm at Vaughan's Public House on Pratt Street, Hartford on Tuesday in case any of you are interested.

Myself and some of the other guys from the United States Northern Ireland Supporters Club will also be around for the pub crawl on the Monday night. See y'all next week

Cool! Where in the North are you from?

Heads up to everyone. Just a reminder that we're sold out of tickets for this game.

Are any of you planing on not going and need a bar to watch the game at? We weren't putting anything together for the Banshee but let us know.
