Just walked by Novakovic's people outside the stadium. About 15 in the pack, with a dozen wearing his jersey.
Bolivia brought an inexperienced team. Only 1 Bolivian field player has more caps than Pulisic. Two Bolivian field players have double digit caps. We might have been better off playing Haiti.
I'm telling you, I'm from South America, Bolivians don't give a care about friendlies. When they take things seriously, though, they can be a pest.
My thinking is this is the only time they will be playing, they won't be traveling to Europe for the other 2 games.
There seems to be a lot more variety INSIDE the stadium. Hell, i see quite a number of Altidore jerseys here. Still fairly lopsided though.
Yeah well... this kind of assumes we don’t get run out the door by Ireland and France... and I’m pretty sure we will
Lynden Gooch & Josh Sargest - 2 of the least 'professional athlete looking' dudes we've ever fielded.
Wes captained Schalke U19s, EPB captained the U20 WC team, Sargent the U17s, and everyone talks about how much of a leader Adams is. I think McKennie’s got plenty of competition
I think this is kind of a do or die time for Rubin. If Green comes on and out performs him, Rubin may slip back into obscurity. Plus, there could be more kids who start to earn call ups in the next year that push him further out of the spotlight. I don’t really like Rubin but I’m okay with him getting a chance to prove what he can do. If Green keeps doing well, he will eventually get his chance.
No doubt, but I put my eggs in McKennie's basket and made that claim publicly before he started a pro game. Needless to say I'm sticking to the prediction haha.
The team should try to control the game instead of going for the kill right away. Too many arrant passes
