    like i said its on. the kinks have been worked out. its on espn2, so im getting the whole front set up for us so we can watch on it on the big screen HDTVs. Sound will be on too. same rules, jerseys or with jerseys. $2 pints, and make sure you order from the server and she knows you're a soccer fan. anything?

    funny note, the guy who waited on us last time, he quit for good. hahaha.

    also, this is gonna be an all day soccer thing due to it being friendly day. so during the day, i'm gonna have the following games on during the day, and maybe another.

    since i'll be recovering from fat tuesday and the flogging molly show, ill be gettin hangover food and watching them.

    Drinking Game for the Game (For Heavy Drinkers):
    Its a shot game. Shot at the beginning of the game/halftime/end of game. Plus a good shot for every USA goal and a shot of tequila for every mexico goal. You can substitute if you can't run with the big boys.

    I'm hoping to make the fiancé DD me home, but shes got an issue about night driving when the roads and gross, but it's a game I dun wanna watch at home and don't really wanna watch sober, either :)

    Get a new club team/coach. Any coach who doesn't understand the importance of a U.S./Mexico match, even a friendly, should play no part in the molding of young American soccer players.

    What an absolutely terrible call on Dempsey's goal just before halftime...I'm still dumbfounded.

    Now that I've seen a decent replay, that call makes sense - Dempsey was offside when he initially received the ball. What doesn't make sense is that they let play continue for another 30 seconds and the ball was in the net before stopping it. It just looks really, really bad.

    Wow, our defense needs some work. Two setpiece goals at the far post, that just shouldn't happen at the national team level.

    So, will Altidore be in Europe by this summer, or will it take until next year? Great game for that young man.
