Re: US Honduras Viewing.., Anywhere? Grand Central in Brooklyn (williamsburg) will also be showing it. They are a soccer-friendly pub.
Re: US Honduras Viewing.., Anywhere? If you can't make it to a bar, it will be showing on Fox SportsWorld live at 7:30 Wednesday evening.
Wednesday, June 2nd, 7:30pm. Attack of the Metro keepers commences as Tim Howard, Jonny Walker and the US Mens National Team takes on Honduras in their final tuneup before World Cup Qualifier action on June 13th. Walker's Metro teammate Amado Guevara, all time leader in caps for Honduras, leads the Catrachos against the American side captained by Claudio Reyna who looks to become the 7th American to get his 100th cap. Come down to Nathan Hale's for some good times with the ESC as we watch the Yanks on the bigscreen live from Foxboro at 7:30pm. There will be drink specials, good food, a raffle and plenty of chances to learn new cursewords in Spanish. Don't miss out!
I just got this e-mail 3 games are better then just one to the real futbol affacinado "Hi all: My magazine Fútbol Mundial is hosting at the Copacabana in New York a pretty sweet soccer doubleheader tomorrow starting at 5PM. It is World Cup qualifiers between Colombia and Ecuador at 5PM and Brazil-Argentina at 8:30PM. We are also wiring the place up so we can show the US-Honduras tune-up game as well. Through an arrangement with MLS and the MetroStars we will be raffling off some pretty cool merchandise as well. Such as MetroStars, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador game shirts, several official Puma MLS balls and tickets to future MetroStars games, plus a lot more. Also, several MetroStars are scheduled to be there to sign autographs (we have requested players) such as Joselito Vaca, Sergio Galván Rey, Eddie Gaven and Mike McGee. I know that most of you will be focused on the US-Honduras game which is more than understandable, but if you can record it and check it out without distraction later in the evening you can take part of a very entertaining evening of soccer. The Copa is located at the corner of 34th St. and 11th Avenue across the street from the Javits Center. The cost is $25.00 for the evening. Hope to see you there. Cheers! Robert" Sounds good
