Or not. Watts is on the field for Bishop up front. Da Bruce is livid, as Grenada backed out of their officially submitted lineup. Powwow with the FIFA folks on site.

God, I love WC qualifying. (Can you imagine if we pulled this stunt with Mexico? Ha!) Let's get this party started!

Jesus! Grenada is a BIG team.

The guy marking Casey must be 6'4".

Celo with the insightful commentary "Jason Roberts is the one to watch, he's big, strong, and uhhh big"

5' Pope header off the cross bar. Reyna shot deflected out for a corner.

7 corners in the first nine minutes. It's all in our offensive third. OK ball movement, a couple clever tricks on the ball, 3 or 4 scoring chances so far.

10' USA camped out in the GRN defensive third. Lots of corner kicks, but no goals so far.

GRN almost scores, Joseph springs a forward in behind Cherundolo, but an attempted header over Keller comes up short.

McBride goes up for a header and gets head-butted by the GRN defender.
He's up standing on the sideline.

MCBride just gets the worst of an aerial collision from a gigantic Grenadan defender. It really shook him, but he returns to the field.

I can't believe they couldn't get more fans out for McBride's return. Kinda sad, actually. I can believe, though, that McBride has already needed medical attention.

Close call on a Jason Roberts breakaway. One on one vs Keller and he shoots over the bar.

Roberts gets in behind Boca (looked offside, no call) but skies his shot over the bar from 6 yds

McBride heads a great cross from Reyna just wide of the goal on the other end.

Well, a) that's not good enough from our defense, and b) McBride's got to bury that. Nobody in between him and the back of the net . . . Mexico's not going to give you a ton of chances like that . . .

Casey's done for the day. Looked like he tweaked his knee when he planted.

    Kirovski on.

    Casey off w/ knee injury.

Colombus is a curse for US injuries.

Recall the Mexico game with McHead and Reyna.

This is a little troubling. We're out of forwards on the bench. And it could easily be 1-0 Grenada

19th min. -- Kirovski on for Casey (looks like Conor's suffered a leg injury of some kind)...

Sounds like there's an echo in here. :)

I'll step aside and let others take it. Let me know if you need to step away for a minute.
