These are some of the worst clearances (or attempts to) that I've seen in a very long time.

A.) We are extremely wasteful of our chances in front of goal in this game. this game could've and should have, to be quite fair, ended 4-1 or 5-1.

B.) Gooch makes our backline so MUCH BETTER.

C.) Kyle Beckerman and Jonathan Bornstein are not talented enough to compete against better quality Int'l teams.

That was pathetic. Bornstein needs to go away. CONCACAF still officially has the most pathetic excuses for officials in all of FIFA. How about a sub, other than for injury before 80' Bob? Not like we have a road match in four days or anything.

The talent is just not there, I don't care if they're "nice" , "solid" players. They'll get eaten alive in International play.

If that was anybody besides El Salvador we would have lost that game. The worst maintaining of a lead I have ever seen. Nobody could hold the ball for more than a pass and i hope for our sake we have to come from behind more often than maintain a lead, because against anyone else in the final 6 of qualifying (or WC) we lose easily.

I missed most of the game coming back from the Notre Dame game. I'm guessing it was ugly? It seemed like we controlled possession pretty well and Altidore had that second goal that was taken away for some unknown reason besides maybe the line judge is a blind retard. I was shocked that Beckerman got in. Bad sub. Hopefully Davies can play Wednesday.

You can't be serious, why is it that everybody says that against El Salvador the truth ES is better than most of you think, and the US isn't as good as most of you think.

For us to even come close to what we did in K/J, we will need:

    1) a sweet draw
    2) No injuries... none. Zero.
    3) Tim Howard to be Howardesque
    4) Castillo's paperwork to come through quick, fast and in a hurry.

....this game should have been 4-1. Dempsey missed two sitters, Jozy had a goal incorrectly called back, and Torres missed a sitter in the end. I'm sure I missed a couple of more as well. This isn't taking into account the PATHETIC ref...

    quick observations

    weakest link - Bornstein
waste of a sub - Beckerman
wrong sub - Altidore ( should have been Dempsey)
    our defence - graded D+
Donovan - best player we have, wish we had 4 more like him
ref - called back that goal for a panthom fault otherwise they were C+
    passing/possesion - tough to swallow D-

If you think of it that way we should have had 3 more goals, the one Reyes missed the clear penalty on Zelaya and the last play of the match too bad it doesn't work that way. Anyways good luck in SA2010.

El Salvador is good, but they look twice as good when we put no pressure on them and let them pass behind bradley and feilhaber all night and put our defense under unnecessary pressure.

Imagine if the teams were 11 on 11 instead of 11 on 15......
