I'm gonna try to sign off for a while and actually watch the game closely. Ha!

But I have to say I'm surprised how much the Aussie players are practically unknown to me. Not sure that means much of anything. Marquee world-famous stars aren't essential for WC success.

Didn't immediately occur to me but the fact that we're going with a totally different look, rather than just trying to slot Zendejas/Aaronson/Reyna as something close to a like for like, indicates Poch has probably known since at least Weds that Pulisic at least wouldn't be able to start

This is a wild statement given all the talent on our bench. Weah and Reyna not starting would have been shocking not that long ago and BA is a starter in the PL, Pepi is a great goal scorer, and Haji has helped a team get promoted.

Well we will presumably get to see a bunch of them against a Turkiye team with nothing to play for so let’s see what they can do.

It wasn’t all that long ago that some here wondered if we might not play better without Pulisic. Hard to remember that after Friday but this is arguably our best bench ever?
