    Thank you, Francisco!

I am so glad Francisco has agreed to open for the Argentina match. All nine of us who went to Aztec Sol for the game on Saturday had a great time---or rather, all ten of us if you count baby Mackenzie (who, however, seemed to prefer gnawing on crayons to watching the TV). I can only commit for two of us at this point, but hopefully most of the gang will join us for the Argentina game.

I liked the suggestion Riccardo55 had on the U.S.-Canada viewing thread about doing something to help people put names with faces. Maybe somebody who plans to arrive early can take a packet of cheap-o "My name is..." stickers and leave them by the front door w/a pen. Or people can go crazy and design their own name tags at home, complete with sig lines and avatars.

And I agree with what greenie said about the unfortunate mass departure at the end of Saturday's game. Maybe with the timing of the Argentina game people will stick around and eat lunch after the game ends. I'm not sure I'll be quite ready for my tacos and margaritas at 10 a.m.!

Or another option is to have a nice big brunch at Aztec Sol! That's what I'll do anyway.

I wish I could go. Right now I have to work, but I may be able to trade for a later shift.

I suspect the mass exodus last game was because there
was no service and the place was packed. Can't complain
(who knew that we'd get 75 for USA v Can in Jan?).
If they staff better, then people will hang around a bit
    longer. I love Aztec Sol...

Would you like a big announcement, "BIGSoccer authors
meet by the bar for intros" at half? :D

By the way, I was the freak that stood up and said "How
'bout a big hand for Aztec Sol hosting the event" at half
last match (but I think you all knew this already).

Let's get a good crowd for this one as well. 10 am isn't that early. :) I'm confident we will.

It would be helpful if I can get in touch with Aztec Sol later this week and give Francisco a ballpark idea of how many of us there will be... so if you haven't responded to this thread yet (or will be bringing more people than mentioned above), please either reply or drop me a PM.

    Gracias.

    Greenie,

Count me in and maybe 2 more. Huevos Rancheros and a Margarita sounds like a good breakfast combo. Also, for anyone that likes menudo Aztec Sol will be serving on Saturday morning. (Great for Hangovers!)

    Hasta Sabado!

After that comment you'll be lucky if you can still see the line. ;)

Looks like I'll be flying solo... the neighbor who expressed interest will be out of town and my wife and daughter have plans.
