Very spirited nil-all draw at Giants Stadium, against one of the best teams in the world. A lot to like about this one.

Discuss.... and no flames or trolls, please.

saw last 30 minutes. USA was excellent, in both directions. We had the best chances in last 30.

Wow how good is Howard? Definitely one of the best in the world. He's come a long way since the Metrostars.

if u play attacking players... u can win a match... or at least play well...

the u23 crew needs to be starting now... they are the most talented players the US have...

the defense (not named Pearce) were poor, again... but Howard saved their asses

Edu, Adu, Jozy, Donovan, Pearce, and even Klejstein need to be on the field often... and Adu must start... even Landon was deferring to him...

Felt like a WCQ, to be perfectly honest with you. Love how feisty Adu is; he needs to be unleashed. Kljestan looked better on the right than Dempsey did. Our subs played really, really well. Class of our starters were Donovan, Beasley, Gooch, and then my two MOTM, Howard and Pearce.

    Very entertaining game.

Adu must start. Rediculous seeing him come off the bench.

I think the Barbados coach is telling his Bajan boys down in Brdigetown: "NOW you haver an idea of what type of team we're going up against."

    Gulp.

Best performance since the Italy game. Too bad we didn't bring it all three games.

He made saves like that in New York. What's really impressive is his command of the box.

I felt with Donovan and Adu we had a very explosive and great counter-attack.

I have been waiting all three games for this combination, we finally get it and look how well we do.

    We had so many opportunities
    Great crowd too

    :D!

Howard MOTM hands down. Without his saves this game could've easily been 3-0, 4-0. He continues to be a force in goal.

One of best games I've seen in a while. Wish I was there.

    We played well. Created chances.

Anytime you hold Argentina scoreless, you did something right.

Go ahead and chisel Pearce's name in at left back for the next 2 World Cups.

And he's only 29. It feels like he's been around forever. He still has a couple more years until he peaks. Amazing.

The USA is a top 10 team as long as they don't play scared, the way they did against England. This was a great series of friendlies, as you could see the team getting more confident, until the point where Argentina looked surprised at the ferocity of the US attack.

    Good performance. Especially by Timmy.

I think, surprisingly, our guys were fitter than Argentina. Donovan is a warrior. No, he's not the second coming of Gerd Muller. But he's a warrior.

And, Heath Pearce is now our left back for the forseeable future.

If only we had a striker..................
