The USA U16's tied their first match of the Dallas Cup against the Dallas Texans 3-3 off two PK's by Michael Bradley and a free kick by Christian Jimenez.
Could you get more info This result trash the theory that our talent pool is SHALOW here in USA.....A modest suburban team playing mano a mano with the MIGHTY USSF U-16 ??? who is the coach of these DALLAS TEXAN TEAM???
The Texans team tying the U-16s was actually a let down for the team. 2 of the Texans offensive threats, they were imported from Brazil, were shown red cards and they played down 2 men for 55 minutes. This team is very solid and have a ton of guys that are on the regional team or in the pool. They aren't a big team so they do have trouble in the air, but they are very technical and have a ton of speed. It should be a good game against the other Texans today.
Two red cards???? So that mean the MIGHTY USSF USE ITS PAW....I bet you there are some MEN IN BLACK there talking to the referees....by the way who is coaching these team, because two imports from Brasil can play alone without any direction....
Whip I know of two occasions when U16 teams (not U17) defeated the U16 national team in Dallas Cup with both times the victorious teams were from Dallas. (I think it might have been the 74 comets and then the 75 or possibly the 73s and then 75.)
you can hardly call the Dallas Texans a "modest suburban team". they're a regional power, famous for producing the best teams out of texas, and i believe have won national championships in various age brackets
So....Hassan Nassari!.......mmmm... I can smell the bacon from thousand of miles..... hey we are talking here about the U16 USSF TEAM a team that have many advantage that Dallas Texans do not have, But just by the results you can figure it out that there is somenthing going on over here, about the past results, does Mr hassan was working with the Texans??
Why they call him SATAN????? Why the other coaches call him SATAN? Dang! this is getting better and better......
Well what about SOCCER NURSING HOME.... Hey what about SOCCER NURSING HOME.COM, perhaps you could be more happier out there
Re: So....Hassan Nassari!.......mmmm... Good morning. Two things: 1) The best American U-16 players are playing for the U-17 team. 2) It was US U-16 vs. Dallas Texans U-17. Good night.
: So....Hassan Nassari!.......mmmm... Still that does not explaing how a USSF NATIONAL "SELECTION" with the best coach on the country could not defeat a modest soccer club even with help from the referee, by the way what about the coach somebody know something about him.....or do i need to find it myself!...do not make me do that!!
Hassan does not coach this team. A gentleman by the name of Marcio, not sure about the last name but want to say it is Leite, is responsible for this team. He is Brazilian and also is the coach for the 85 boys and I think one other team in the club.
The Dallas Texans are the largest club in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, at each age level they have 5 to 6 teams for both boys and girls. By the time they hit U-15/U-16 top players in their program (and most other clubs in town) have moved to their Dallas Red team. This is esentally a Dallas area all star team that has played together for many years.
Man, we are going to use one result to start attacking the USSF on their structure of U-17 and other such teams. While we are at it, let us say that the US and Korea are leaps and bounds better than Portugal. This was a, meaning one, game. Texans are an amazing team. (Jordan Stone, Chad Deering are bother products of it.) They are one of the best organized clubs in the country with a staff that matches. I could go into all the intricacies of home field advantage, the year they have on the U-16 team, and all that crap. Or I can just say that the Texans played a great match which was deserving of its result. Which is what happened.
The Texans were not around when Deering was playing youth soccer. I don't think the club was formed until around 92 or 93. I think Deering was already at Indiana by 89 or 90. However, along with Jordan Stone, Nick Garcia played for Texans as a youth.
Only the results count ..... There is still a profound mistrust among the soccer fans about the qualification of many people on MLS/USSF and having a NATIONAL.... "SELECTION" .... tie with a "regular" team bring some questions about the nature of the "SELECTORS" ....or do you think this is OK....do not forget Clive Charles
