PBP: USA - Scotland exhibition (Saturday, 5/26) in-game thread [R]

Going to a graduation tonight out in Morgan Hill. I hope these channels come in.....

 

I never learned how to program the DVR and my VHS-VCR doesn't work anymore.

It's hard to get critical about Cakes when he plays for us on the Nats. For the Scum it's a whole different bag.

 

Programming a DVR, at least with Dish or Direct, is simplicity itself. Hell, even I can do it. I think falvis has never tried.

 

Great result! I did not expect us to manhandle Scotland like that. And their only goal was an own goal. Props to Donovan, he looked like he still had it out there.

Was Wondo the only guy in the bench not to be subbed in? Sad he didn't get a shot, but not surprising since we were on a rout. He didn't fit into the 4-1-4-1. Honestly not impressed with Boyd. What a boring final 20 minutes though

 

I have cable. Not sure how to do it.

Anyway, saw it on the Spanish chnl and it was an incredible game!

 

Um you press the button that says record once you have highlighted the program in your channel guide?

 

He told you it was tough.

 

Actually, I never learned it nor did I ever care to because I never had anything worthwhile to record. Anyway, I just pressed the DVR button on my Comcast Digital cable remote and it says DVR SERVICE IS UNAVAILABLE. I guess that is the main reason I've never had it or learned it. Sounds easy enough. Maybe I'll call 1-800-XFINITY and figure it out in and when I get a chance....

Without posting the result, you would think Wondo would have gotten a look in this game. Didn't even see him on the bench. Maybe will see him against Brazil on Wednesday....

 

This was a historic, incredible result for the USA! I'm sure the British media will use some type of excuse on such a lopsided score. Still great job. Too bad Wondo didn't come in after they scored their 3rd or 4th goal....
