So, by the tailgate, do you mean you can't make the Columbus match? Is it possible to sell scarfs at the Columbus match?

I won't even be in Ohio, so none will be sold at the tailgate, none at the game.

A USA scarf is in the works coming out of Columbus (in line with what CrewBeat was saying), more information on them will come early next week. Stay tuned!

I have an unavoidable work conflict that won't allow me to travel to the match.

    Morning everyone,

Just an update on where things stand with the scarves:

    * I have now sold just over 70 of the 150 scarves that I've ordered from http://www.sportsscarf.com. You may see the design below:

    * I am still expecting to receive the scarves at some point between January 23rd - 26th. I have envelopes addressed and ready to go, so I plan to start shipping them (USPS Priority Mail), they day I receive them. In short, if you've already submitted your order you should have them in time for the U.S. vs. Mexico WCQ in Columbus.

    * I will post a photo of the scarves in this thread after I receive them.

    * I am continuing to take pre-orders via PayPal and via personal check. Payments via PayPal can be processed by sending me money to my email at evan_whitney@harvard.edu. Personal checks may be made out to me and sent to the following address: Evan Whitney, Holyoke Center 1060, 1350 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 02138.

So that's the deal people. Again, if anyone has questions please send me an email or drop me a PM.

    Evan

    Magpie,

That is a fantastic looking scarf.

How much are you selling them for? I'd like to get one.

    Thanks!

Provided I receive them between the 23rd and the 26th, yes, you'll get them in time for the match.

So I guess this is where this post should go ...

    Hello everyone,

As the Sam’s Army New England Brigade (NEB) tries to resurrect itself, we’d like to announce our first scarf that’s been designed just for the NEB.

You don’t have to be a member of Sam’s Army to buy one of these scarves, as at this point, the goal is to try and set aside some money for future endeavors (shirts, hats, scarves, etc).

The scarf was the idea of one of the original members of the group, and designed by another. We are rather proud of the design, with the back being the cities that our members (in most cases at least a dozen) have been to. My apologies for the pictures … they were taken rather quickly.

At this point, this is a private venture (mostly paid by me), so I’m hoping to get the scarves out ASAP. The scarves will be ready to be shipped as early as tomorrow (most likely Thursday though).

Just an FYI, there’s one small block at the back that got a little messed up due to an error on our part, but you can still see “Daejon” clearly enough.

If anyone’s interested, PayPal (or checks) are accepted. PayPal can be sent to patfan1@yahoo.com. The total (Priority Mail shipping included) is $21.50 per scarf.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I'll try and get better pictures up tomorrow.

I like to collect all the supporter made USA scarves and when attending matches I usually wear 2:

My home scarf and one other scarf which I rotate between games.

Good to have and trade amongst other US Fans that I meet across the country.

I'll be paying for one from Monty and one from Evan later today.

Gracias for putting in the time and effort.

Thanks Jay (got your order btw) and Flip.

Here's a much cleaner version of the final scarf.

I'll bring a couple with me obviously, but I'd rather be tailgating and not just trying to sell. BTW, the first shipment's are going out today. :)

I was politely reminded that trying to sell merchandise in the parking lots at Crew Stadium could cause an issue, so I won't be selling in the lot. If you'd like one, please paypal me and I'll get them out ASAP,

I am sure if you brought some to the bar people would buy one.
