    May I suggest:

We should have something online shortly to sell the remaining ones we have from the World Cup.

I take it those are gone. I have been searching and searching on Ebay for a scarf and never once did those come up no matter how I searched.

I received a lot of compliments on my Join or Die scarf at the World Cup.

Does anyone know anywhere selling any US scarfs that commemorates this past WC?

why, we were eliminated by Ghana for a 2nd straight time. What's to celebrate. Good memories from the Algeria, England and Slovenia games, but thats it. I know they have t-shirts for sale with the scores on it on many websites.

  12. Based on the success of the World Cup Commemorative scarves, I would like to make another limited run of generic United States scarves. I am looking for ideas--if you have a design that you would like to submit to me, please PM or email me. The design should preferably have two sides. The best design will be produced and the designer will be rewarded with a free pack of his scarves. BTW, I have been making scarves for 9 years now for many MLS and other American teams but never advertised to maintain my underground status.

I feel that the more underground, fan-designed USA scarves we have on the market, the better for the sport and the overall acknowledgement of the national team.

    .
well you need to include LD's 3 goals, and Howard's dominant form against England. Shouldn't include any forwards because they didn't score any goals. And don't include Bob Bradley or that dude who allowed the 1st Ghana goal. I am just being lazey there. And last, you could include are finish, 12th place.

I would definitely order a few. I can not think of a specific design off of the top of my head except that there should be references to the England game.

I would not mind seeing something like the Battle of Baltimore on a scarf since that was a tie as well. Of course we ended up looking better after both engagements.

I wholeheartedly support a battle of baltimore-eque scarf. I feel that adding any references to the War of 1812 would work as well. I say this because after the war ended there was a greater sense of nationalism in the USA and the addition of any references to the scarf would allude to a greater love for the game and fandom in USA after this WC.

    Re: scarf ideas
The motto of the New Hampshire 2nd Regiment is pretty badass IMHO
(FYI they were in the thick of it during the Revolutionary War at Bunker Hill, Saratoga, Valley Forge).

Would be a great for a New Hampshire specific scarf.

  20. There WILL be a USA commemorative scarf for the USA-Poland match at Soldier Field to be played on 0ctober 9th!

The design will be posted soon.

Right now, the plan calls for a USA commemorative scarf and a "half-and-half" USA-Poland commemorative scarf. Both scarves will be available for 20 USD (shipping included) through a PayPal payment to jaghna2 at yahoo. They will be available on eBay, too, but paying through PayPal will save you a buck or two.

Preorders are appreciated--they will help us judge interest. I know it is difficult to buy something you haven't even seen yet but you can at least indicate your willingness to buy by posting the intent in this thread.

So are you designing this yourself? Hopefully its not to designed to just showcase US VS. POLAND, like this scarf.

  22. I don't even know where to begin.... Let me just say that the design above is so atrocious I started pulling my hair out when I saw it. No, I have a designer or even a few designers who create wonderful designs for me. I have worked with some of them for over 7 years and I don't think we ever created anything that drew significant critique.... The guy who is going to design these scarves is really good and even has a recognizable style; trust me--the designs will look good.
