Usa Lose On Many Sides!! (r) With no olympics now dose the fact that the USA did not want to participate in Copa America hurt alot more??? With Copa America the USA could have had a GREAT oppertunity to test them selves in a important tornament now this summer the USA watchs the olympics and Copa America on TV... SAD.
Not really. If anything it is a minor blessing. The players will be fresher than normal. The schedule congestion is lightened and the players can steer clear of the burn out factor. It's not like the US won't have anything to do this summer. They have a little thing called the World Cup to start qualifying for.
And as I recall, something called "MLS" starts up in about 6 weeks. As I understand, it's somehow related to US soccer.
Don't worry about us, mono. We've paid them back before and we can do it again. Let them enjoy their triumphalist orgy. When the big boys show up to the Azteca, they'll be packing a nasty mood. Trust me.

We're only playing Haiti to throw a bone to Fernando Clavijo. We've also scheduled home and away friendlies vs. Poland which should be more interesting.
