http://www.fifa.com/en/news/fixtures/men,f.html Says we got a home game aganist Paraguary 1/25/2004. I don't know if it's true though. This is the same site that said MEXICO/ARGENTINA in Chicago in October 03.... But if it is true, where is the game going to be?
US is listed first, so it would ostensibly be a home game for us. I hope Detroit at Ford Field Considering we played in Columbus over the summer, I really can't see them playing each other again so soon (unless it's a stronger Paraguay side--they were crap the last time).
Yeah I would not mind seing a differnet venue for this game....maybe Detroit, Dallas, Pheonix???? Fargo??? Ok, that's streching it.
Agreed. I read on a Paraguayan Newspaper after the WCQ in Chile (CH0-PY1) that Paraguay had received an invitation to play USA again in January.
That is the same day as the Super Bowl, and the Denmark game is the same day as the Conference Championships, so I don't know why they are scheduling games on these days. Seems like a bad idea to me, because I know I will watch football (easy choice) if there is a conflict. Also, why Paraguay again?
Yeah, you're right. They went back to the 2 weeks between the Conference Championships and Super Bowl this year. I guess I will watch the USA-Paraguay match then.
Rumor on the Chicago boards is that the Nats are going to Soldier Field in the spring, most likely against Poland.
As I said on another thread on this topic, I'm hearing US-Paraguay will be in Arizona, most likely at the BOB.
