Well I know i'm not the biggest Millie fan in the world, but I hope she's ok. There is no doubt about that it was her knee. Lets hope for a strain and not a ligament tear. Now on to bidness! WAR USA!!! Way to club them baby seals!!! THUMP THUMP THUMP!!!! 9-0
My sister just about died when Millie went down. Her poor, poor knee. After being stretchered off, they immediately wrapped ice around it. They allowed her walk too, so the guys in front of us were optimistic. Mac's concern, the way she rushed to Millie's side, was touching. Speaking of Mac, I could not see what the ejected Panamanian did to her. One second we're celebrating Abby's goal, and the next all the US players were standing over a teammate. When the US used up all their subs early, I too was wondering what we were going to do when Panama would turn violent. I've got tons more thoughts on the game, but I'm really tired now. Oh, and btw, how does 21,552 sound?
Mac took a blatant elbow to the jaw. I think Millie's okay. Just a twist. She'll be fine. I thought Abby should have had at least four goals. There were two really good saves by the keeper and two excellent saves by the post. Especially on that diving header. Dammit. Anyway, she played a very solid 90 minutes. I was pleased. Excellent attendance! Seattle rocks!!

Heather went home and Abby took her place... THATS the kind of attendence that deserves a WUSA expansion team!
"Milbrett scored in the third, fifth, ninth, 22nd and 34th minutes to equal the U.S. single-game goals mark set by Brandi Chastain against Mexico at the 1991 CONCACAF Women's World Cup qualifying tournament and equaled by Michelle Akers against Taiwan at the 1991 Women's World Cup." ..........yup the 3 great ones!
