Now this makes much more sense. Cherundolo is the small fellow that plays for Hannover.

But Beasley is left footed isn't he?

I never said that Convey shouldn't be starting. I just said that you can't say Convey is outperforming Beasley without mentioning that Beasley is doing it at a tougher level of play (especially Champions League). I do believe my later post explains this.

I'm with you.....I thought Beasley usually plays on the left. I know last season when Arsenal played PSV in the CL, he was on the left because Lauren was marking him and gave him a kick or two.

    True.

Although, given the strength of the Dutch league, outside of the top 3, a comparison between club play is not at all wide of the mark.

I actually think that he did play on the left last season, but that was when they had Park on the right. Park got sold :D , so I suppose they put Beasley on the right, which may have resulted in what appears to be his current lack of form. He may just be uncomfortable in the position.

When all players are fit, now that Farfan has come into his own, it is Beasley on the right, farfan on the left. At least that is how it has been this season(I have followed them more closely than last), and last season against Milan, Beasely was also on the right before being subbed off for JVOH.

I think last season he was in a rotation with Farfan, Park, and himself. Now with Park gone, he and Farfan get most of the starts together.

Yes, DMB is left footed, but that isnt stopping his performance for PSV, nor is it stopping Duff or Robben when they play out right for Chelsea(not saying he is on there levels).

Fair enough. Although I distinctly recall him playing on the left in both of the matches against Arsenal.

Beasley started the first matchup between those two teams, Farfan did not.
Farfan started the second matchup, Beasley did not.

Has DaMark had anytime on the flanks this year in the league with PSV, cause it seems like they still want to use him as a just a forward?

He's playing forward in a 4-3-3, still similarities to a winger.

You have to include Reyna in the US starting line-up for World Cup. Is he the captain for USA?

But Beasley played in both matches and played on the left both times. What's your point about him not starting in the second?

Damn right he's our captain! He'll be starting for sure. Some people give him stick and say his best days are past him...I disagree.

His best days are past him.....but not so far past him that he shouldn't be starting for the U.S.

EJ if he's healthy, Wolff if EJ's hurt. JOB if he's healthy. Donovan is good for CAM, I don't know what possessed you to put Dempsey there. It'll be a miracle if he even makes the team. Lewis is being used at LB, not RB. Gibbs should take LCB if he's healthy.

I love chrundolo...at right back. I've long since counted Twellman out. He is way down the depth chart. I hope.

LOL...that makes sense. But I don't rate Berhalter that highly. I rate Conrad in front of Berhalter. Among others.
