11 tickets purchased for my group through Sam's Army, 3 of us coming from DC, the other 8 already in Columbus. Staying at the Drury Inn Convention Center downtown.
If anyone is familiar with SA, if you place an order on Paypal are you confirmed to get those tickets? Or from there is it a lottery for all those who placed Paypal orders? I'm a paid member of SA and am a little disappointed that an email wasn't sent to members first for a game with such high demand. I'll be even more disappointed if I don't end up getting the tickets I ordered.
I just bought my 1 ticket from American Outlaws (Damn the Wednesday game). So everything is set for me, except getting from the bar to the stadium. Lets hope the locals in C-bus can arrainge a bus system like we had in Chicago. Oh and buying the warmest US Soccer jacket available and stocking up on toasty-toes. -G-
I panicked a bit early this morning. I am an AO member and was sent the link to buy tickets, but the site was not working correctly at the time. I am not a paid SA member but I bought tickets through them just to be on the safe side. I really hope I get my tickets now. You guys are worrying me now.
I ordered my ticket through SA last night. I would assume that they wouldn't have a way for you to buy them if they were sold out already, so I think everyone who is worrying is ok. I'm stoked, this is my first WCQ game and my first meaningful USMNT game since the '93 Gold Cup in Dallas.
Just bought 8 tickets this morning for my group from SA!!! I am soooo pumped for this game!!! Does anyone know what the match time will be?
I just bought my ticket through American Outlaws...Of course no offense to my friends over at Sams Army! I'm a proud paid member of both groups...just went with the bigger discount. I've only seen seat locations being mentioned as North Endlines on SA and General Admission on AO. I hope both supporters groups will be mixed together....I think this will be a great opprotunity to mend any fences that may have been broken along the road... Also, about the General Admission note on the AO site....Is this an "official" thing or just the standard we've been going by forever (if someone asks for their designated seat, give it up) Has US Soccer actually smartened up and printed GENERAL ADMISSION on the tickets??? GO US! Dos a Cero!
3 first caps from Dallas in the AO. thankfully, I think I have a pretty busy schedule this month. So hopefully time won't seem to drag on as much!
Whew...I about had a heart attack when I realise they were on sale. Got my one through Sam's Army. Don't care where I am in the stadium, just thrilled that I'll get to be there.
Is it too early to start a new thread to discuss these important details: 1. Bar for the night before the game. 2. Bar before the game. 3. Tailgating plans. 4. Victory party. -G-
Anyone know when the rest of the tickets are going on sell im bringing my 3 yr old daughter to her first soccer game and sitting with the supporters is not the best idea
If I were to make an educated guess, I would say that 1+ section is given to SA, 1+ section is given to AO and the Northeast corner is given to the Crew season ticket holders/Nordecke. That being said, since it looks like the entire north end of the stadium will be the "supporters sections" is it still going to be general admission? I would imagine so but was checking to see if anyone knows
I've seen elsewhere on these boards that CCS are putting bleachers on the stage and those are the tickets that were allocated to SA/AO. It would be incredible if this was indeed true and that the entire end of bleachers were full of just US Supporters & GENERAL ADMISSION...leaving the entire Nordeke to Crew supporters/season ticket holders etc...that end would be insane! Which is obviously the reason this cannot be true!
