I need me some Freddy Adu.
I miss watching the little guy.

John Harkes says Jozy Altidore is fantastic, as well. Gotta love Harksey.

Mexico tries to over power at start of 2nd half every time we play them.

Bradley is a poor excuse for a coach.

This match is 3-2 USA, regardless of what the scoreline says.

This officiating is ********ing dreadful. At least three clear cheapshots by Mexico go completely un-punished by the official, despite being clearly seen: Howard getting cleared out, Convey getting cleared out almost immediately afterwards, and Onyewu getting kicked after his offside header in minute 80 by Marquez.

God, I hate Mexico. And I hate CONCACAF officials. Terrible.

The most shocking factor is how awful our outside backs are. Corrales and Moor had no business being on the field tonight. Maybe you guys saw it differently but I thought both of them were poor. Moore had the one good service and that was it. Corrales gave up several deep fouls.

Hell, Frankie would have pimped in that back line. Corrales and Moor, no more!

They were both pretty poor. I really don't see whatever Bradley sees in Corrales. Convey was pretty dreadful as well; I'm not sure how he lasted as long as he did. Clark was pretty bad too, I thought.

I'll pile on with Dempsey. I thought he was relatively useless out there.

Moor and Corrales should lose their citizenship for their performances tonight. Combined with the poor midfield combo play of Bradley & Clark (who looked, at times, like they'd never played together before), I'm surprised the US didn't lose.

Refs are always awful in CONCACAF. To expect different is to ignore history.

I enjoyed watching Altidore play tonight, and to think he wouldn't have even been there if GAM doesn't get transferred and TT didn't get a knock. If we can figure out the outside backs and center mids, we're in real good shape.

What I found completely shocking was the back line's disregard for Howard, especially on setpieces. He was quite obviously ready to rip their heads off -- and rightly so. He's got experience and quality. Them....not so much.

I thought Boca played well all around tonight including set pieces but we needs some outside backs for sure.

Dempsey-He for me is hard to judge cause we constently ask players to have confidence and take on players and tonight he did try to do that. Now maybe he should have better judgement on when he should dribble or pass but the kid has determination and skill. I am not down on his performance tonight as some.

I watched the first half and I thought the game screamed for Freddy.

IF Drew Moor ever plays again I would be shocked. Heyduk back there or Churundelo and it is 2-0 usa. Horrible.

Bradley (Bob that is) just showed how over his head he as the coach with this game. Terrible lineup he put out there and he got burned.

I'd even take Wynne or Albright right now. Hell, I'd take Tim Ward right now.

I know Drew's overall play sucked but it seem that people are giving corrales more of a pass that Moor. Moor couldnt mark on those set peices but i believe the one goal came from a corrales foul. I thought he gave up way to many fouls in dangerous area's and also looked horrible with the ball at his feet.

Neither of the two impressed me on defense. At least Moor got one of them back with a nice assist to Altidore.

Moor and Corales were no doubt terrible, but the options are kinda thin at outside back. If games like this are what moves these guys forward, then I guess it's good in the long term. Both deserve more looks.

What's going on with Onyewu? I haven't been following his career lately. He just doesn't look quite like the player we once saw. Not as sharp, not as strong, not as good reading the game...

Bocanegra, however, was very good all game.

Freddy got pushed off the ball multiple times, just like in MLS....but is far and away the most comfortable USA player with the ball at his feet. But where is his place in Bradley's preferred two-holding-mids lineup?

Ref mistakes are a part of the game (although I agree with this call). Go back to WC2002 when the score was 1-0 U.S. and the ref didn't call a clear handball by a U.S. player (can't recall who) that would have brought the score to a 1-1 tie and maybe changed the story. Or a clear foul on Mexico by a German defender in the WC1998 when Mexico was 1-0, a penalty kick and Mexico going up by two, instead of finaly losing 2-1. Heartbreaking but it is a part of the game.

I was at the game and the sideline ref raised his flag like 30 seconds prior to the goal....the main ref just never looked until after the goal.
