I'm getting really annoyed about all the Freddy Adu crap in this forum. I'd like to read a post that that has something to do with USMNT for a change. Isn't there a Youth or Junior teams forum to post this stuff on?
Why don't you or somebody else start a thread about something other than Freddy Adu. Then you'll have something to read about something other than Freddy Adu.
What else is there to discuss? The battle for left back? Another thread discussing LD's best position or Mathis's gut?
If we are going to promote the lad properly, we have to drop the "Freddy". Look at a list of the some of the greats (Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo, Rivaldo etc.... etc....). If we are going to hype a kid out of proportion, we might as well do it right. Think......"Adu"....."Adu".....
Frankly, Freddy's a lot more interesting than USMNT ... at least, the version of USMNT that recently played vs. Jamaica and Argentina. Plus, of course, he has been playing this past week, while the grown-ups have not.
I have called for an all Freddy all the time forum before. Howevcr, I think that forum should now be all Adu all the time, that way we can talk about Fro too.
