I too am proud, this is why. http://www.examiner.ie/pport/web/world_story/Full_Story/did-sg8-hr6YrQDh6sgTbBP-2fa91M.asp
I'm sorry, but I just can't see the "shredder" story changing anyone's mind. Was there anyone (outside of a few hundred loons in the Bay area) who didn't know Saddam was a brutal dictator? Asking anti-war folks to defend this story is like asking every hawk to defend every war casualty. It's specious.
Oil prices plunge as Iraq fields secured Nope, no connection between Iraq and oil prices at all. Move along, move along, nothing to see here.
they starting dropping a week before the war began mike. partially b/c OPEC nations agreed to increase their amount of output to off-set any decrease in oil production from iraq. is there some connection, well of course...iraq's output was very minimal due to sanctions and after a war their output will be much higher. benefitting whom? the iraq people.
Maybe if the article was slightly on-topic to the thread title... Don't bother starting a new thread. There was one already.
