    Perfect, perfect draw.

Ghana in the Round of 16, and then either Uruguay or South Korea in the Quarterfinals? You couldn't realistically ask for a better draw.

We have a great match-up and the road to the semi's will mostly likely never see this type of grouping again for the USA...let's take advantage.

If im not totally wrong, i dont think Ghana has score one "playing" goal in this tournament. Both of there goals was on penalty. They do not look scary.

    I want blood.

Total flop on Gooch's PK "foul" and Reyna blowing out his knee and gifting them a goal. Both from right in front of my seat in Nuremberg.

Yeah we had our own problems including Ben Olsen as an attacking sub and Donovan was invisible.

Saturday is the day for revenge.

    Should be a good game.

Wow, Ghana vs. USA. Very interesting for a couple of reasons:

    1) They beat us in 2006.
    2) A couple of US players have Ghanian backgrounds: Adu and Davies (although neither are around).

Simply put, this is the IDEAL scenario. Beating Ghana won't be easy, but it's better than Germany or Serbia. If we can beat Ghana, we'll take on South Korea or Uruguay--both of whom are beatable. We could make it all the way to the semis, where we'd meet Holland or Brazil.

This is probably the beat chance ever for us to get to the semis and potentially a final. Let's seize it!!

They only way Ghana can score is through penalties. Their gameplan is to dive in the box. That's the only way you can beat us, which may happen looking back at 2006.

Ha! Try US (3-0) Ghana. Ghana hasn't scored a non-penalty goal in the WC yet. Get ready for our marauding midfield.

No, Davies was born in the USA...but he may well have Ghanaian heritage, I don't really know.

No, his father is from Gambia. So he is Gambian.

He was born in the US too.

Ghana will be the only African team in the knockouts. I expect another stolen goal on Saturday. It will be 11 v 15 again. But what else is new?

    That is true.

As much as I want us to win, I would like us to win fair. Granted we've had 2 PK's this comp, but both have been legit.

Should FIFA 'grant' us the win, I won't complain, but I'd prefer we score legit goals.

Time to pick Ghana apart. We will win this game as the 2010 USA team is much much better than the 2006 version. We are faster, we are more technical, and we will come out attacking. I am happy we are getting a chance for REVENGE

Ghana are better then the USA in my opinion. Their only weakness is they are a bit light upfront.

Did you see them play today?

They look scary everywhere else. They matched Germany in the first half
and should have scored at least once.

The USA should be very worried.
