I have a sneaking suspicion that he won't even get off the bench...

Well this answers the Wondo question:

Gotta start to wonder why Klinsmann bothered to call him up in the first place

We could have used him in KC.

I'm off to a meeting anyway. Now I don't have to fret about what I'm missing.

Wondo is better than Gomez.. Well, I hope Wondo is learning a lot, because otherwise his being called up is worthless to the USMNT and the Quakes.

Not surprised by this. This is what I wrote in the Wondo thread:

He might get a run against Canada, but I wouldn't bet on it. What a shame.

They aren't referees, clearly. The arm was in an unnatural position when it was hit, which is enough to judge it a deliberate handball.

Still no Wondo and they need 2 goals. I must say if the USSF & MLS aren't a joke of a federation and/or league I don't know who is. Why bother bringing him at all if you never had an intention to use him?

Still, playing for your national team is the greatest honor a player can recieve. Even if he doesn't see a minute, I'm happy for the experience Wondo gained, and hope he can become a factor going forward

USA putting good pressure on late, which is good enough to a friendly against Brazil.

US Offense is good. The defense, including keeper, is horrible.

I'm not. I mean these are only meaningless friendlies and don't do the player or his club one bit of good when he isn't there. We could have definitely used him on Saturday in what was an important league match and I don't think Klinsmann ever had any intention of using him. Why couldn't they fly him out on Sunday or even Saturday night? Makes no sense to me....
