It is the biggest football rivalry we face in this country, it extends beyond the pitch into our daily lives, it extends into the very socio-political realm of this country. But two things always ring true whenever these two teams meet of the field of battle, it won't be a FRIENDLY, and when the dust finally settles on the grass of Reliant Stadium the USA will win dos -cero.


Come on out to STOUT and join the wildest, most passonate fans in NY and NJ in supporting the the USA. All are welcome to attend, and while your there take the opportunity to check out the Empire Supporters Club. If your a returning ESC you can get your new memberships for the 2008 season. We are recieving a $4 discount on all day of game tickets to section 101, your membership contribution gives you the right to have discounted away bus trip prices, we are offering a new ESC Scarf for the season, we also are giving away new ESC patches with membership, and above all we are giving you the ability to be a part of a movement and a organization committed to providing the best support in MLS for our club by working together as individuals.

Is this an ESC only event, or am I welcome to join? I do not want to rub anybody the wrong way.

 

No, ESC is just putting it on. Its a US game so we usually get a bunch of US fans attending. But if you wear your Dynamo gear to a US match party you can expect to get ridiculed.

 

That is what I figured, but with all the talk of sign ups and what not I wanted to be sure. I have been to a couple watch parties before, as I am sure you know.

 

Yes, don't worry . . we'll only stare at you weird when you wear your Dynamo shirt. Otherwise, you're okay in everyone's book.

 

My socks were a big hit last time.

 

Yeah, it's national team day, so all fans are welcome. If a fan supports the US, we'll be happy to see you no matter where you are from. If you support Mexico, we'll be happy to rip you a new one.

Good posts by Sack. Having been at a few of those games, it really gets the blood flowing to think about playing Mexico again, even if it is with our B team.

If you can't hate the Mexican national team, your hate is broken.

 

B team? If anyone is playing with a B team, it's Mexico. We have our A guys, don't we??
