Hopefully Fado will have another block party....I asked about it on their Facebook page and got a "we'll see". Either way, I'm likely headed either there or Tir Na Nog.

I certainly hope so. For saturday, Fado would be wise to remove the tables if they can't do an outdoor viewing. They could have fit a lot more people in. Great atmosphere either way today... and I won the second Union giveaway!

Can't hurt to have more people call/e-mail/post on their Facebook page.

(Although on second thought I'm not sure I should go there myself, I watched the US-Ghana game in 06 there...can always go for the party then head to Fox and Hound for the actual game again I guess)

We could probably edit the thread title to just Ghana now.

2:30pm Saturday. I'll be at McFadden's at the ballpark. Probably missing the first few innings of the Phils v. Blue Jays game.

Has anyone been to Brother Paul's in Eagleville for a game? USMNT or Union? I know there was someone on here who mentioned it a few times?

I've been going to Iron Abbey the last few games, and had a blast. But I have to shoot off to work right after Saturday's game and Brotheg Paul's would be way more convenient.

    Atmosphere? TV quality and location?

I'm headed down to the Phils game on Saturday as well. I'm just worried they do something dumb like turn the TVs to the Phils only when the game starts.

    Am I just being paranoid?

I made it to Brother Pauls for the first kick. Its hard to say much about the atmosphere because the college basketball tourney was going on that night too and most people were watching that.

That said, they had the U on 3 TV's and there was a group of about 15 of us.

Well...the 2 of us will have to make sure they leave at least one TV on the USA match. I have a feeling we won't be the only ones watching though.

I live right around the corner from Brother Paul's. Haven't made it there for a game yet, but if I know people are going to be there, I will definitely head over there and join the festivities for a Union away game!

    Here's the dirt:

WHAT: FIFA World Cup 2010 Knockout Round of 16 - USA vs. Ghana
WHEN: Saturday (6/26), 2:30 PM US EDT
WHERE: Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg RSA
TV/Radio: ABC, Univision (Espanol), ESPN Radio, Univision Radio (Espanol)
    Referee: Viktor Kassai (HUN)
What's At Stake: A chance to play Soccer City against either the Republic of Korea (South Korea to those in the anti-communist world) or Uruguay. At this point, no ties; there must be a winner. If there is a tie score after the full ninety minutes, there will be thirty minutes of extra time divided into two 15-minute halves, and if no one scores, best of five (or longer) penalty kicks.

    Got it?

Heading to the Phillies game on Saturday as well, and, I think we'll be at McFadden's at the Ballpark, too. So, that's 4 to try and keep the game on.

I think we should do a group (drunken) run from Tir Na Nog up the Art Museum steps after the final whistle tomorrow..

    Who's with me!!!!!

(why do I feel like Frank the Tank all of a sudden).

Did anyone notice that we were the only team to win its group and not win their round of 16 game. :(
