US to repeal 1st Amendment?

    Calm down.

    With the influence of President Tony, the influence of the Lords is becoming nothing but a pain in the arse for those that shout about hunting.

    You took the meaning of 'bollocks' a little to hard.
    Easy mistake to make when not brought up on the word.

    Born in this country makes her British, as was her father (George VI), and her grandfather (George V), and her great-grandfather (Edward VII) and great-great Grandmother (Queen Victoria).

    Unlike many Americans, being German/Italian/Irish etc etc, 4+ times removed, does not make you a representative of that given country from whence your forefathers came.

    And I agree, the part about 'God' saving the Queen, is a little outdated, however 'tax-payer' doesn't scan as nicely.

    Yes, but hasn't Tony essentially turned the Labor Party into another big business ally? It's the same problem we have in the U.S. -- too little difference between the Republicans and Democrats.

    There was more than a little tongue in my cheek in that post.
