Things of interest (especially since it's only 18, WC roster will be 21):

Dalmy makes it on to the roster over a number of more experienced folk. Looks like Markgraf isn't fully recovered yet. I haven't seen her so can't comment.

Chalupny is listed in the midfielders (no surprise but seems to indicate her position has been relatively settled) and no Hucles or Jobson. No new faces here. For the WC roster, I think there will be one more spot (maybe 2) for a midfielder so maybe only one of Hucles/Jobson makes it.

Cheney over Kai, which is very interesting. I think there is some legitimate competition among the forwards. To my mind, only Lilly and Wambach are total locks here, although I think Tarpley is close to a lock. So that leaves quite a few battling for 1 or 2 spots. I wonder whether this means O'Reilly has surpassed Kai on the depth chart?

Obviously the roster is only for a friendly but I do think it's getting to the point where Ryan is likely establishing a core and rotating in the bubbles to get a last look-see.

yes very interesting roster. looks like kai has some competition for that position she plays. Oriley i beleive plays a different positoin on the forward line than Kai or cheney and is probably battling Tarpley for that othe forward position. Am surprised Hucles and Jobson both didn't get on roster only b/c one of them has always been there for most of residence. the thrill of competition.

    Nice diagram!

About S. Lopez - I couldn't be more in support of that decision. I think she's a fantastic decision-maker on the field. Young, but solid and incredibly smart with the ball. I see her leading the defense in a few years.

Also excited for Cheney. She's a monster talent. Kai is my favorite player right now.
    I'm over HAO.
