Probably Claudio Reyna. Maybe Kasey Keller.

I don't know how much Donovan and Adu's endorsement deals are worth though.

Highest paid and richest are two different things.. I guess you mean who is the highest paid including endorsements as knowing who is richest would require us to get help from the Internal Revenue Service.. ;)

Claudio Reyna has to be... based on all those years abroad.
DMB will surpass him in a few years...

Landycakes and his endorsements are probably high.

If Adu makes the World Cup Squad... he will catch up pretty quickly.

    -Beckham
    -Owen
    -Fowler

    for US players probably,
    -Keller

From what I've heard, Jovan Kirovski has done extremely well for himself, having very successfully invested his earnings.

I would guess Friedel has earned more in salary than Dolo.
Unfortunately he lost a lot of money betting on soccer games - he kept putting money on himself to score.

He kept making bets on the games he played in, that he was going to score. You know, like "who will score the first goal/winning goal/etc." types of bets where you can choose from any player on either team. And he never scored.

Huh? If it's an attempt at humor, it's not working.

Jovan Kirovski is probably one of the most wealthy American soccer players whose wealth is derived from their soccer careers.

    Yes, it was.
Really? Wasn't he a bench player for most of the time he was in Europe? I'm not saying that he's not wealthy, just that he was never all that successful.

according to Sports Illustrated, Tim Howard is the highest paid American soccer player. Something like $4 million a year.

andy's right. he played for porto, manu, borussia dortmund, birmingham city, and crystal palace.

each one of those clubs is a good paycheck, save palace at the time. they were a championship side but i believe he was their highest paid player.

remember guys, he was a pro in europe since the age of 16.

It was around the summer. They had a list of the 50 highest earning sports stars that are American citizens. Timmy didn't make the 50 but they had a list of 10 that had the potential to make the top 50. It had a short blurb about Timmy and it said he was the highest paid American soccer player.

dolo would not be on my list, he is a fullback in the bundesliga, remember sannah being offered 400e a few years ago that he turned down, dolo cant be making more than 700 euro. I would say reyna or keller being that they have been abroad the longest. I would be interested in hearing more about kirovski apparent investing provess

    Who is John Hark?

Seriously. Do you read any of your posts before you hit "Submit Post"?

Keller lives in a frickin' castle. I my book he's the king of kings concerning wealth. Maybe not in terms of dollars but pure prestige. I would love tell someone I lived in a castle!!! Rumor has it he has dozens of hidden closets that hold mascots from rival clubs!! :)
