No way that's a foul on Oduro. Yes, their keeper has the right to play the ball, but so does Oduro. Jeez.

Dominic Oduro Mr. August. It's appropriate that he wears # 8 and August is month # 8.

It's going to be an epic final - either against the old enemy at Toyota, or Fat Sigi in Seattle.

Oduro's goal was a beauty. Goal of the week material. I hope the floodgates have opened for him.

Gotta love the MajorLeagueSoccerSoccer.com headline 'Back Where We Belong'. Here's hoping we get to host the final.

Call me crazy but I thought Richmond was the better side. Oduro's goal was all class and ultimatly the difference between the two teams was ability in the final third. I thought the Kickers had the better spells of possesion, however could not make the final pass. Will say the ref seemed pretty partial to the Kickers, and we got lucky a few times in the defensive end with that. Was a great game to watch, wish the Kickers could have pushed it into extra time.

What's more interesting is he didn't even get a minute during the Reserves game. Came on for the last four minutes tonight.

I don't blame people for not showing up. The TP management half-assed this one.

It was not called a foul. It was called offside.

OK, a win's a win and before the game I said I didn't care how we won just that we won. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm just happy that we're going to Seattle (they invented the USOC, you know, just ask them) and I don't care that this was the least convincing win ever and we barely hung on against a lower division team and did not look at all like the side that simply ran Colorado off the field.

    We won. That is all.

WTF is wrong with Pause? :)He is dribbling ,passing forward, some nice through balls, some ones and twos ,running inside the box ,shooting on target and nice defense .
Great to see Pause and Sega are improving .

Oh well, looks like I'll be watching at the Globe instead of TP on October 4th. Fire will go from SLC on the Wednesday prior, to Houston on Saturday before heading to Seattle for a Tuesday night Final.

    Here's how I saw it:

Richmond started better, more energy and more willingness to attack.

By the end of the half though the Fire were absolutely dominating. Ball didn't leave their half for 10 minutes it seemed.

2nd half we subbed out Grazzini and started waiting for the clock to run out and Richmond pushed forward with a lot more of the ball.

There were better that I was expecting, and I'm disappointed that the fire were so flat. Very disinterested in the counter attack. Both teams created so few chances.

Agreed. Pause has been GREAT these last couple games. Did you see the one time he did a dummy and then made a run into the box! Amazing!

Just got back from the game a little while ago. WTF was up with the traffic and gate leading out on to 71st? 12 lanes merging into 1.

I warned those sitting around me that Richmond was a decent side. I know it's going to be unpopular but I'm going to say they played very well. Yes the center official was biased in calling every little thing against us and letting Richmond hack some of our guys into oblivion but their passing and running off the ball was top notch. Not only that their one defender was huge and Oduro couldn't beat him with his pace. He was also double teamed most of the game.

Speaking of Oduro that goal was amazing.

Looks like we have to go through Seattle to get our 5th Open Cup. Bring it on.
