Hello all....I am a Columbus Crew fan (if that matters) who will be in DC the weekend of the US Open Cup Final. I know the game will be shown on FSW, does anyone know a place I could go to watch it in town? I will be in the touristy areas, not the outskirts, with mass transit to rely on for getting around...... Any help would be very much appreciated!!!
You could probably watch it at Summers, which is located in Arlington right off the Courthouse Metro station. (www.summers-restaurant.com) You could also watch it at The Capital Lounge (Uninon Station Metro station) & The Lucky Bar (Capitol Metro station). DC fans... keep a look out for the only guy in the stadium with a DC jersey on who's trying to avoid being killed in the North End.... That's me... I may have a SE sign too, so keep those eyes peeled.
I just got back from D.C. I proudly watched my Crew win the Open Cup @ the Capital Lounge. This is a great bar. I felt welcome there (even with my Crew jersey on) Great atmosphere, great Bartender (who gave us a couple of victory shots at the end of the game) I would highly reccomend this place and will definately go back next time i am in DC just to watch any game that might be on. you have a great city.....
