The post-game commentary keeps referring to this as the 12th championship United has won in its 13 years.

    MLS Cup: 1996, 1997, 1999, 2004
    USOC: 1996, 2008
    Supporters' Shield: 1997, 1999, 2006, 2007
    CONCACAF Champions' Cup: 1998
    Interamerican Cup: 1998

    Do I have this right?

And it could have been so much more!

Think of the Atlantic Cups we could have won. And never forget the Sanwa Bank Cup.

    Emilio ruled himself out.

No Guerrero? He's available. He didn't go with his national team.

Burch certainly got turned, but he never let Williams get off a shot.
I wonder who was supposed to pick up Fuller, Guerrero perhaps. Hmmm
I bet it was Ivan that got grilled at halftime by Tommy

I grilled him from my spot in the stadium. No one marked Fuller coming out of the midfield.

Is this supposed to be a lineup for tomorrow? If so, Vide's out, Fred appears to be out, Moreno's called up, and neither Doe nor Gallardo can go long (Doe didn't even dress Wednesday night).

Morenos not called up is he? Last i checked he wasnt on the Nat. Called up roster. Andi thought someone else cofirmed it in that thread made about that, and Ivan's calling up to their NTs(neither is Ivan).

We'll see if gallardo can or cannot go long.... looks like then we will be playing Dyachenko where gallardo is? And who up front? Moreno probably since he isnt playing with Bolivia.

I wonder what we willl do up fron tthough.... Moreno.... and Quaranta?? Moreno and Thompson/Cordiero? LOL

Thanks for the correction. I thought I got his callup from Goff's blog within the last three or four days, but apparently not.

Goff was right and it was in the Bolivian newspapers about Jaime getting called up but Sanchez didn't include him on the final roster for some reason. Just as well, Ecuador is probably going to paste us anyway with the roster Sanchez is taking.

Don't feel bad. He's listed as called up in the pre-game report on the DC site as well.

    D.C. UNITED GOALKEEPER LOUIS CRAYTON
    On Charleston
I watched them this morning at the hotel they went for training, later on this afternoon they went for a walk, so I knew they were going to come on strong. I’m happy, thank God that we won. It was not an easy game for us.

hahaha the guy is crazy. i love it!
