    Well
Kickoff will be June 16 @ 7:30 at Avaya. I guess the officials at US Open Cup agree with you. I know, maybe geographically it makes sense but since we're likely to not receive any loan players, I'll go with the no real affiliation angle.

I hope we throw a good lineup out there. That game is sandwiched with @Arizona and host OKC. AZ seems to be coming back down to earth and OKC seems mediocre at best so I hope we give the starters a chance to give it their best against a MLS side.

This budding rivalry will continue to grow June 16.

Anybody know where the Cosmos vs. Jersey Express will be played? US Open Cup site says New York, NY. But where in New York? New York City? Long Island?

Cosmos' twitter account says St. John's Univ. Belson Stadium.

Ouch...Roro suspended 3 games for his red game last game. Not sure if US Cup games count toward that. Thinking no though. Big loss.

    They don't.

    He should go 90 tonight.

    All righty, then.

Not very often that you can gripe about a 7-3 victory, but this was the case.

It's a good thing SRFC brought its "A" game on offense, because that defense was a hot G-D mess in the second half. CVFC had way too many seams to exploit, and many of them were because Foran was being Stabby McStabberson instead of keeping his feet moving and his heels off of the turf.

Also, it's well that Jakubek's getting some burn in these games, but if he plays like this against San Jose, SRFC will get absolutely blasted.

Usually, when you give up two exceedingly soft goals, plus a PK, and you also fail to convert your own PK, you lose.

But apparently not when yous score 7 goals.

    7 goals!

(Tonight's "defense" will get us slaughtered against San Jose.)

With RoRo's USL suspension, at least he should be playing the full 90 vs. San Jose. I'd pay extra to see our first-string defense in there too....

Foran is a liability in the back. I'm too lazy to do it, but I bet the goals against average with him in the back vs a Vukovic-Daly pairing is a horrendous difference. Not sure if he was one of the guys being "lazy" like Preki said but he certainly has not been great. He's a backup at best. I think Preki will go with a nearly all first team against the Quakes, it's the only way to put up a good fight. I don't know how serious Kinnear and the Quakes are taking the Open Cup this year, they may or may not start a strong team.

So...given both teams' form of late, which team will suck less on Wednesday night?

I'm trying not to think about it.. One good thing is Lopez will be available so there should be good connecting play from Sac, and the Quakes have a bye this weekend which means they may be playing a lot closer to a starting squad. Will be a great matchup in my opinion, both teams need some good to come their way, and should be interesting to see Preki vs Kinnear tactics on display.

Playing Sac is a lose-lose situation for the Quakes. Win, and it's to be expected, ain't gonna get any pats on the back. Lose, and everyone clowns on ya. The best thing for the Quakes to do is to not bother showing up. Save the 1st team roster for league game, roll out the scrubs for this insignificant game. Hoping Sac blows SJ out of the water by 10 goals.

I don't even know who is attending the match, but tickets are seemingly sold out? Welp, enjoy the LOBINA for us, Sac fans :)

Will the match be televised? It would be a shame if The Battle of NorCal is not televised

It's the Quakes. The FO is probably more annoyed than anything that we have to play this match, so they'll put up as minimum of an effort as possible.

You'll see a full blown national broadcast via Fox Sports 1 once Sactown enters MLS soon enough, that would then be worthy of Battle of NorCal.

Which basically mean no stream, no broadcast, nada. I swear yo...I defend the Quakes on a lot of things but this shit is nigh impossible to defend. For the love of God, is it so hard to throw up a cheap cam stream?
