I'd change "implode" to "go on strike," but same diff.

This is silly. If FIFA had fixed the draw then Group B would be significantly easier. As it is, Brazil could get Spain or the Dutch in the round of 16 and that is no cakewalk.

    Brazil 3 Croatia 0.

Easy win. No Mandzukic, and no nazi chanting jerk (unless it was misinterpreted, it doesnt sound like it was) equals Brazil Samba time.

Real hard figuring out the runner up for A, C, F, G, and H.

I think the winner of the bracket challenge should get some sort of prize, since there are about 50 entrants. Anybody have ideas?

If we could each put up a small $10, one of us would be cashing a nice little check at the end. ;)

These are almost my picks exactly. My problem with them are the fact all we've heard is that European teams can't win in South America but we both have 10 of the final 16 from Europe. I'm looking for the upsets but just cant find them. I dont trust Cameroon, Mexico, Nigeria, Japan and the likes.

I'm a Croat fan today. If the Brazilians are still crying about 1950, imagine their amount of but hurt if they failed to get out of the group this time.

Failed to get out of the group? If they fail to get out of the group it will literally send the country into chaos. Even reaching the final and losing will be a national tragedy, anything less than that will be anarchy.

The only team in the group that I imagine giving them any issues is Mexico, simply because Mexico usually does. They're going to come through it with 9 points and probably around a +5 or +6 GD.

No doubt. Failing to get out of the group would be, I don't even know how to put it...the biggest failure in sports history?

Truly, it would be that big of a story.

Apart from that ABC Wide World of Sports' "Agony of Defeat" guy. Except with the whole country being thrust into chaos as a result.

I, too, took the "Ok, which one of these is least likely to implode or fall apart?" approach and chose England.
