I figured it would be a good idea to inform some people coming in of the awsome soccer and sports weekend in Columbus. If you have a chance to come in Thursday or Early Friday do it. Besides the US/Mexico match and the OSU football game there will also be 4 college soccer games that weekend with the Ohio State Classic. The Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium and OSU will play host to Penn State, Marquette, and New Mexico. New Mexico will be one of the best teams in the nation with Forward Jeff Rowland of interest. Penn State is always tough and, well, I guess Peter Wilt would be intested in Marquette. Tickets will be $5 for both matches Fri 9/2 Penn State v New Mexico 3:00pm Fri 9/2 OSU v Marquette 7:30pm Sat 9/3 (Football)OSU v Miami 12:00pm Sat 9/3 US v Mexico 7:30pm Sun 9/4 Penn State v Marquette 12:00pm Sun 9/4 OSU v Mexico 2:30pm
You can follow all developments regarding supporters activities here... Party on Friday night, tailgate information, and post-game party all included. Expect firm details to be announced about all in the coming days.
Wedi'r gwrandawiad dywedodd ei deulu ei fod eisiau mynd i angladd Hannah ddydd Gwener a'i fod nawr yn wynebu'r "broses hir" o ddod i delerau â'i marwolaeth. Roedd y llanc hefyd wedi pledio'n euog i ddau gyhuddiad yn ymwneud â gyrru beic dŵr yn anghyfreithlon heb drwydded a heb gwblhau'r ffurflenni swyddogol angenrheidiol.
Good song, that one (I Predict a Riot). Reminds me of a night out in the Short North. A friend of a friend of mine got beaten when he looked the wrong way at a policeman. This just after a man in a tracksuit attacked me. Coincidence??? No way.
Forgot to tell you, Leicester are now using Club Foot and LSF as part of their "pre game entertainment package" Which is stupid as the people who know who they are dont usually roll out of the boozer until 10 mins before kick off
I'd like to see what Crew constitute as their pre game entertainment package. Either way, that weekend is the weekend of my birthday, I'll not be fit enough to make it to the stadium for US/Mexico.
Interesting direction, this thread. Well anyway. Just to throw something else out there. If you want to go to the OSU v Miami(OH) game good for you. It's definatly a good experience for first timers. However, we aren't ********ing ticket brokers. So don't start a thread asking how to get tickets two weeks from. I don't have any and if I did I wouldn't ********ing sell them to you. Do like everyone else that wants a ticket and go to the ********ing stadium and stand out there looking for a scalper. Oh and if you get a chance go to the Skull Session. It's a treat. It's free, should be held around 10:30am at St Johns Arena. If you go to the game and you don't go to the Skull Session your a ********ing idiot. Myshap Columbus Welcoming Committee
What the hell is a skull session? This isn't a band thing is it? And who the fck wants to see Miami of Ohio? If it were the mighty Falcons of Bowling Green, I could understand. OSU are lucky they don't have the brown and orange on the schedule this season.
OK, who slipped the "Uncontrollable Cursing" mickey into myshap's Ovaltine? As for pregame activities, I plan on hiring six greasy, skanky Mexican whores and dressing them up in Tri jerseys with Sanchez, Marquez, Blanco, Borgetti, Castro and Morales on the backs. Then I'm setting up a booth in the parking lot with a big sign that says "Los Tricolores Blow Jobs" and charge ten bucks for a BJ and a beer.
I'll meet you at the Wendy's on 5th ave then. There should be more than enough young ladies available there.
