This has got to be one of the dumbest ideas that USSF has ever come up with. They get what they deserve. It's too bad the players will be on the receiving end of it. Does Bruce Arena have no say in this? He's got to know what an idiotic idea this is.

I think I will watch on TV too.

The option on my 5 seats will not be exercised. Thanks but no thanks USSF.

I pray to God that this is an attempt to ferret out who is leaking information.

I love futbol. I love RFK. I love tailgating with my buds. I love drumming and singing and chanting for my team. I would love to do it for the USMNT.
    It's not gonna happen.

USSF sees this as a way to sell out RFK and make some $$$. And, hell, we all can just buy seats with the SEs or the Barra and sit in our own red and white section surrounded by seas of blue. It'll be kind of fun to taunt them when our B team takes them apart, no?

    dissapointing

If that indeed is the opponent I will be very disappointed. After attending my first DC United game this season I loved the atmosphere and was hoping to take the kids to see the MNT in a packed RFK. After everything I have heard and read on these boards it seems to me that El Salvador vs US may not be a game I want to take the kids to. Oh well maybe we will catch them next time around.

Stay away...stay very far away! I can only fathom this as an attempt to make some $$. I've gone to see USMNT three times at RFK and each time I felt like I was in another country. Not this time!

What's wrong with 4-0 to the US? I dated a Salvadoran and yes she was insane as anyone from that war-torn hole would be, and I think I will enjoy being at a game where the sallies don't spit at me because I'm with one of their women. They'll spit at me becuase we pasted them!!!

But this is our country, show up and represent!

BTW, I personally know a bunch of Salvadorans who showed up in Honduras colors (I know they're the same colors) for the Qualie. We need to vent our frustration from the Germany match!!!!

Let's show these biatches who runs this continent.

I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but most of your anti-El Salvadoran comments sound like nothing more than bigotry. I know, I know, some of you have had bad experiences with them, etc. whine whine whine...but I've been to RFK several times myself and have never had bad experiences with any El Salvadoran. Hell, I've been to Caps games and had bad experiences with drunken white boys (several times in fact). Whatever, flame away...

Money talks. If the Fed wants to get a nice payday that it can use for player development to identify and train the next Donovan or Quaranta and at the same time, get some international experience for some of our younger national team prospects, then more power to them.

Plus, it will be fun watching the US beat the crap out of El Salvador. I mean, let's look at who this country's best players are:

Cienfuegos - he doesn't play for ES any more.

Diaz Arce - washed out of MLS.

Cerritos - did his knee and is out for 6 months.

Rodriguez - benched and only starts occassionallu now.

Quintanilla - Will be with El Salvador's U20 team, which will be in CONCACAF qualifying (with the US) in Charleston Nov. 13-17.

And those are theur top players. Imagine what they'll be bringing this time. Remember the last time these teams played the US whipped their ass 4-0 in Gold Cup. Should be a similar result this time and I don't want to miss being there when the US opens up the proverbial can of whoop-ass on these guys.

(Unless, I go to Charleston, instead.)

Besides, since Quintinilla signed, the team and the city have had no problems with the Sallies and, as Lastort can attest to, the security can be really tight when it wants to. I think this will be fine.

Why not view this as an opportunity to win over the ES crowd some more? I mean, with a couple WCQ's sure to be on the table for RFK in a couple years time, why not win over some support by an impressive display on and off the pitch?

    Yea, that'll work.

You can call it bigotry, I call it experience. I have too many times had my kids pushed over, items stolen out of their hands, bathroom floors pissed on, beer thrown on, ... Maybe the culprits were not from El Salvador but their was always a Salvadoran player on the opposing tem when it happened. WCQ versus Honduras, many people rooting for the other team but in a freindly manner. pavon was int he stands near us at halftime and while there was a push from the crowd, it was civil. That has not been true when RDA, Zarco, Cien, have been signing autographs in my area of the stadium. If protecting my wife and kids is bigotry, then I surely am a bigot.

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

It's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for USSF.

I've been to every USA game at RFK since 1996, but my steak will break with this game.

It sucks to do this to the players. Why should our USA players have to put up with the demoralizing experience of playing a home game on away soil (as another poster put it in this thread)?

I don't agree with you here, it's from my past experiences, not bigotry. I had pretty good experiences at the qualies against Honduras and Guat., but the last two Galaxy games, I have had problems. It's not just a soccer thing either, I won't go to any more Redskins Monday Night games either after my experience at the Redskins-Cowboys game two years ago.

If the USSF wants to sign this game for $$ reasons, that's fine by me. They'll make a lot of money. Just not any of mine.

I'd go but I'll be in Ireland/Scotland at the time.

Still this is a moronic descision from the USSF.
