hey guys im watchin it live now on espn2. its 1-1 from a donovan goal in the 5th and a pk in the 12th. comments so far? bad field conditions. a very us friendly crowd. some questionable calls already: a bad yellow card on reyna. a soft follow for that pk goal. go usa go, were still outplaying these guys. our defensive lineup is very experimental, im surprised by brices lineup. convey- gibbs-mastro-hejduk itll be all about how gibbs, mastro and keller play today with each other. itll be a fun game to watch i think. im hopin josh wolfe plays a long game today and plays well, hes already looking good. if this field was in good shape this game would already be over im thinkin. what do you all think? also, weve missed 2 good chances. mcbride just missed in the 17th minute. forza inter
zing! 2-1 usa!! josh wolfe in the 19 minute. off a crossbar struck my mcbirde i belive, a great pass form donovan, hte field doesnt seem to effect him so far. hahaha, WOW IT IS POURING!!! forza inter
are you new the us mens national team??? haha HALFTIME 2-1 usa donovan in the 5th and wolf in the 19th pk in the 12th for grenada forza inter
what stinks is that the USA cant counter Grenada in this slop....the field is too slow.... were just going to have to hold on....but we have a 5-1 advantage with 45 minutes to go Grenada need 5 goals
hey, has anyone else seen this AWESOME nike add on tv? with henry and co playing soccer in the house?? the best part BY FAR- when he opens the door and manU, with timmy howard are standing there and just yell BOO!! haha, i laughed real hard when i first saw it forza inter
2nd half under way grenada almost scored in the 53rd minute, but they didnt. the rina stopped for now and the field looks better forza inter
grenada down to 10 men...bad foul...as in a sort of bad timed, or waste of a foul in the 54th minute. a second yellow after one in the 18th minute. cant get the name of the player. go usa! forza inter
Except for the fact that Roberto Carlos is twice as good as Convey, you might actually have a decent point.
77th minute goal form beasley, off 2 great flick ons, first in the midfield then by stewart 78th, counter attack- goal by greneda, ritchie charles a nice goal splitting the defenders forza inter
Have you seen Mexico's group? Mexico T&T ST kitts & nevis St vincent and the grenadines.... what a crock...
i watched the game in the Grenada stadium, they're very nice people the Grenadian fans congratulated me right after the game, than i went to the beach afterward, what a life.....
How about the group of death? Costa Rica Guatemala Honduras Canada That will be interesting indeed. At least the U.S. looks comfortable in their group.
That was an interesting field no doubt about it. On the flanks the ball would run even during the title wave. In the middle the ball died I am suprised the ball didn't float when it started to rain again. Then when the rain stopped for 15 minitues the field was ok to play. I wonder how many socks they bring not to mention boots they come with. Once the boots and socks get drenched your feet slide in the shoe and presto blisters. From what I heard the people from that country behaved like real gentlemen.
seems to me this has happened before--mexico getting almost an automatic in their runup to the hexagonal. watch out for the canadiens--new coach and a new attitude! plus the ticos just about blew it--they advance over cuba on away goals!!!
Well, if a soccer coach is ingesting some substance (controlled or uncontrolled) and he still --has won nearly 50 international games --has his team's most important rival completely intimidated and completely outclassed --has gone to a WC quarterfinals and was one handball from getting into the semis --is about to go to SECOND world cup with a team that few European sides--and I bet the Bulgarians, especially (assuming THEY make it) -- want to be drawn in with... --and will be heading straight to the US Soccer Hall of Fame when it's all over... I should think you would like a taste of some of that aformentioned substance. But, as the Romans used to say, de gustibus non est disputandum Anyway, I think a bottle of good Chianti is about as far as it goes for Bruce. I'd run out and buy some now if I were you.
And where are the Romans now? Who knows, maybe he started doing crystal meth between WC cycles, with all that time on his hands... Wait, you're the guy who thinks speed is the end-all be-all, right? And yet you're Armas' #1 defender? That is the oddest contradiction. But it's probably cuz you're such a complex guy... Were you watching the Genada game? 48th minute, Grenada player, over a space of about 30 yards separated at least 15 yards from Armas--and this isn't exagerration to make a point. The Grenada player literally separated 15 yards from Armas in that amount of space.
