Did anyone notice on MUN2 broadcast of the US-Mex match when they cut to the US Army in Tikrit watching the game? After Mexico's second goal they're all wearing "US Army" on their shirts waving Mexican flags. What an image.
National soccer teams are not exclusive to citizens of that country and showing your support for Mexico as an American is perfectly fine, it's just a game after all. Having said that, the soldiers that were waving their mexican flags showed very poor judgment. They can cheer but for heaven's sakes DO NOT WAVE THAT flag while wearing the US Army uniform. That's all it was, but those mexican fans should know better. Idi*ts.
