Halftime. Game is VERY wideopen. Uruguay having serious problems dealing with Chile's advances down the flanks (it almost looks like they are letting them go uncontested), but the final quality has been lacking in the cross and finish. Meanwhile Uruguay seems to possess more quality attacking but they too have had too many attacks slow down and die in the final 1/3. Forlan's chance seemed to be the best of the game but he couldn't guide it on goal. Could be a 0-0 game with better keeping, but at the same time could be a 3-3 game with better quality in the attacking 1/3. Wide open game, very enjoyable.

Uruguay misses a GREAT chance, 2v1, carries the ball past the keeper but can't turn it back on goal, so centers it to the other attacker but the defender blocks it and keeper recovers. Uruguay has undoubtedly carried that play this half, and really are unlucky not to have extended this lead.
