I just checked out futbol records and stats.. the last time Mexico has beaten Argentina was back in 2004.. which is also the same year my team Ecuador has beaten Brazil.. ever since 2004 Ecuador hasn't been able to beat Brazil.. I was only 10 years old in 2004.. but I remember that match, as clear as day.. it was a WCQ match in Quito, and we defeated a strong Brazilian team that just came from winning the 2002 World Cup. I was so happy that day.. I hope we can defeat Brazil again in September in Quito.. Our historic Stronghold

But Messi is Argentine and plays for Argentina, so your point is irrelevant. Plus Mascherano and Banega are playing great in midfield. What has Mexico done at the World Cup with a squad lacking a super star?

I guess that you could also say that "Colombia knows how to play Mexico"
