one of the web boxes went out of control on sunday night and we didn't discover it until tuesday morning. we hard rebootted it around 11am yesterday and its all been fine since.
Would it be possible to start a WSOD supporters group...? In the hope that the limelight would drive it away once and for all...? Can't be any worse than the idea's you guys are arriving at. Can it...?
WSOD ... blah blah blah ... had two more a few minutes ago ... blah blah blah ... This WSOD is so early '09. Could we possibly have a colour change? I'd like a nice shade of mauve. And yes, I did have the above mentioned a few mins ago on two occassions.
I got this: Fatal error: Call to undefined method vB_Database_Slave_MySQLi::query_slave() in /home/www/bigsoccer.com/forum/global.php(400) : eval()'d code on line 156 I was able to reload the screen after the arrow message. Now i'm looking at a mostly white background with not much else. I see the red arrow pointing up (to the top right of the quick reply box), avatars, and the gray bars at the top and bottom of the screen. The whole thing lasted about 2-3 minutes. At 4 PM, it went back to normal.
Any more tech updates forthcoming? No news is good news...? p.s. Liking the 'my friend' updates on the RHS. Different.
No sign of the WSOD for a few days now. So is it safe to say we're in the clear? Can we have back all our normal functions now mister...?
I actually got to of them yeseterday at the same time but I forgot to report them. But it wasn't a big deal. Hasn't happened since.
Have the WSOD been beaten into submission finally? Has the battle been won? If so, is it safe to assume that missing options such as currently active users etc will soon return to their rightful place in the BS website? Am I asking too many questions?
