Oh, man. Phillies fans are in a great mood at work today. "The play is at first. Throw it to first. THE CATCHER IS TELLING YOU TO THROW IT TO FIRST!!!!!!!"

Such a preventable and at the same time understandable error. I'd freak the ******** out too. Hope the guy is OK.

Given the way he skied the throw to the plate, no telling where the throw to first would have wound up.

But at least the my colleagues are no longer muttering about the piss poor bunt that gave the Dodgers their second win in the series.

I loved Freddy Freeman when he played for the Braves and in 2021 when we won the WS, he was amazing and l loved watching him. Most Braves fans knew he was probably not going to be re-signed, and we vowed we'd never begrudge or hate him.

    But here we are.

Freddy Freeman just wants to be Kirk Gibson. Nothing beats the original.

Yeah, but with a bad knee and a bad shoulder, could he make that catch (like Gibby did v. the Mets)?

But he was really a Giant in disguise. He was hated by Dodger fans, but then he became one of them. He even threw a no-hitter as a Dodger.
