Looks like I'll have to start a new thread as all the new threads disappeared, and only a few of the old threads reappeared.

Nice 3-0 victory for United. Sure it was against the hapless Hammers sans DiCanio, but they kept up their recent form of tenacious midfield play, sound defense, and incisive attacking.

And to top it off, Arsenal and Chelsea both drew. So, United are now one point off the top of the table!!!!

Now they have two tough away games this week against Blackburn and Boro.

Good win for ManU, even though it was against a sub par team!!! ManU should've been up more than 3, but i guess they felt sorry for them. Great goal from Veron.

Long live ManU and the Quakes!!!

Definitely great to see the win, most excellent to see the new position it puts it in. Great header by Solksjaer, nice goal from Veron, always great to see two guys who are down on their scoring put one in. My favorite moment though, the own goal. To anyone who saw the Southampton vs. Newcastle game there wer a few tiems that they almost came up there too so the lad shouldn't feel too bad, ok so he should, just tryin to help, heheh

I'll be honest, only a few weeks back I wasn't so sure that Utd could do well this year in the league. They didn't show any heart and that loss to Man City really put a damper on things but as we all know now that was the turning point :)
Against the hammers they were back to their old selves and the score could have been 4 or 5 to nil. let's hope that they can keep up the good work. the Poo are slumping bigtime now.

Actually -- and this is pretty amazing and beneficial -- United and Everton were the only teams in the top 10 to take full points this weekend.

    After a long absence...

    I'm back.

Lets face it, United had been written off, after being 9 points behind Arsenal, and Liverpool. Though, if the form was such a disaster, why where United still top half of the league? United has too many good players to let the team become just average. It was only a matter of time before it all turned around.

Also, who can rmember Keegans outburst that he would 'love it, just love it' if Newcastle beat United to the league. It was roughly half way through the league, and Newcastle where 12 points clear. United went on to win the league by a similar margin. Liverpool are a good team, yet they still appear fragile, and Arsenal has been found out now. United just need to keep playing the way they are now confidence is high, and just keep flattening everyone.
