Nominate the DCU player for the honor of Fan of the Match . . .

i.e. who of all of them did the most standing around doing nothing?

    Enter your nominee below:

    No, they have the covid.

(damned internet weirdness, by the time this actually posted, it had been covered :))

At least they are using LU's parking lot for kids bands to play, so they're not a total waste of space

Beyond embarassing. In an alternate universe, Olsen would be gone by 9:00 AM tomorrow. Instead, Levien and Kaplan will give him a contract extension. Someone needs to sacrifice a goat to appease the Soccer Gods.

0-4, at home, against a team at was almost as desperate as we were. Trying to check in someone not on the gameday roster. A sleepwalking second half (I thought we at least put some effort into the first 45).

One of the lowest points of the last five years, maybe longer.

There isn't much to break down. We're just not very good. Kamara brings nothing. Reyna doesn't look like one of our old "rescue from the bin" acquisitions (Quincy Amarikwa is now playing in Las Vegas -- I wouldn't be surprised to see Reyna somewhere in the USL next year). Our wingers were eaten alive. No creativity in the middle of the park.

    Wednesday against NYCFC? Ugh.

So, Olsen says at half time that some players weren't good enough and changes will be made, so he pulls Nyeman and Yow.
That's what he took from the first half? He is either a liar or blind. Please go away now.

Ben is the first one to say players need to get better but when it comes to his screw up he doesn’t want to talk about it.

    F him

To be fair, I think he's trying not to call out the person who is to blame, I actually believe if this was on him he would admit it.
But 'f' him all the same, his team is terrible.

One of the worst teams in MLS history. Maybe not the top 2 or 3 worst, but most certainly top 10.

Who exactly on Atlanta's roster today is good? Their roster is shit. Yet they smoked us 4-0 at home. This ain't about players or quality because MLS is still a joke league that any second rate club can get at least 1.0 PPG in. This amateur club can't even do that. It's pathetic.

Actually on a second look as much as I hate to say it, it was DOGSO since Birnbaum was too far away to be able to make a play. What is misleading is that the basic replay's angle makes it look as if SB has an opportunity to intercept but he actually has no real angle.

I did think that generally, Atlanta got away with a lot of rough tackles that should have been called; players like Yow need to be protected from repeated fouls.

Funny you say that because in our house we were commenting a little before halftime how well Nyemand and in particular Yow had played while some of the veterans we really poor. Why Kamara, for example, keeps starting is beyond me.

But Olsen is the coach. Game day is his deal. He sets the tone. It’s still his responsibility. How incredibly rare is this mistake? Yet, it happened under Olsen’s watch. He should have taken responsibility even if it was an intern that filled out the roster incorrectly.

Stadiums dont cause diseases. 5G towers do. Sorry about Barca being such a mess. I hope you and yours are doing well otherwise
